Melchezedik just means king of righteousness (melch=king, e, or el= of, zedik= Truth or righteous). Melchezedik just means king of righteousness (melch=king, e, or el= of, zedik= Truth or righteous). When Abraham came back from having defeated the kings that took his nephew Lot(and others) captive, he was met by Melchizedik who brought wine and bread, and blessed Abraham. Abraham gave him 1/10 of the spoils. Now at the time of Abraham, who would have been more righteouse than Abraham himself? Shem the son of Noah, Shem is Melchizedik. I would agree with you Tony. I am bothered by his doctorate too (his academy sounds like one of his own invention). Too many people use paper mills to "purchase" degrees to make them see learned. The enemy grows stronger because the people are illiterate with regard to their reading and understanding of the Bible. So sad. He will be judged for misleading and "tickling the ears" of the sheep.

I agree with your comment on the foul language (should not appear on any site), but would disagree with the false eastern concept of karma. The idea that man (any man) could "make himself worthy" through many incarnations is ridiculous. Man cannot escape sin as he is born into it. However, God loved us so much that He came to earth wrapped Himself in flesh and paid the price we could never pay. Why is it so hard to believe that you need Jesus in order to achieve eternal life? 1 chance 1 life.

Also, it's ironic that this Dr. Hurtak just happened to be visited by the people that he had been studying for years. Again, this video was only made to lead Christians astray. Every idea of this goes totally against anything written in the Bible. Isn't it so ironic so that these people use books associated with Judaism & Christianity to prove a point that goes principally against either of those. Both Jud/Chr include (in Daniel/Revelations) warnings against this type of crap. And if you actually researched tenants of this crap (like the origin of this Melchizedek heresy), you'd laugh. It's like someone has picked great sounding things from each religion to form one. No one agrees, including any of the religions where this is borrowed.

Melchizedek" comes from two Hebrew words; "Melka" is "King", and "Zedek" is "righteous". Jesus is the King of the righteous, or righteousness. Paul discusses this "Most High Priesthood" of the Son, or Messiah in Hebrews chapter seven, and relates Abram's relationship to God to the unchangeable priesthood of the Levite priesthood, in relation to Jesus Christ's as being the Chief Priest over all priests.

The priesthood of Jesus Christ sprang out of Judah, where as the Levitical priesthood of Moses is from Aaron, and Moses spoke only concerning the Levitical priesthood. Paul teaches that when we are under the blood of Christ, then we are not under a law of carnal commandments, but become an eternal priest, after the "Order of Melchizedek" [Christ]. It is well worth the time to study the entire study on Melchizedek from Hebrews 6:20 to Hebrews 7:28.
