@FishySeven Not much, besides that the Gauss has slightly more damage. Unfortunately, the Gauss is still sometimes a two-shot kill, like the silenced DSG-1, a glitch that Crytek still has to fix..... like many other things......

@Gogeta1345678 simply earn an unlock against the weapon, I think its 50 kills with the Gauss but I may be wrong.

Awesome... But really, the Gauss is rather useless. DSG-1 does about the same damage with higher firerate.

Except for the Hologram Decoy, I guess...

@TheBaerenmenue about the same damage? 60 dmg vs 115, a player has 120 health. Gauss has ~200% more chance of 1 shotting someone in the chest if they have take any damage at all, but DSG has much less recoil so follow up shots arent hard to pull off.

@sacriel42 yeah what i meant was the amount of shots needed for a kill in the chest. I run around with DSG-1 and Reflex 2 or very few times one shotting people, but I'd like to run around with the Gauss one shotting everyone. that would be aweseome!

@Dreadborn I have keen eyesight so I enhanced visor simply highlights what I already saw, Nova 12 because I greatly dislike the other pistols because of the dodgy iron sights and poor rates of fire plus its more of a style thing, Nova with silencer looks stealthy and pro - I prefer stealthy/accurate looking weapons than big loud brute force weapons. PC.

@FuzzbyStew Unless the data farm stats are wrong, you must be wrong. bodyshots (lower torso and upper chest) does 1x damage (headshots do 2.2x damage) the Gauss does 115 damage, so no chest shot will ever 1shot somebody that is on 100% health.

@FunnyBonez100 yes, so lets say u star to use the sniper rifle, after 50 kills you get 1 attachement unlock, silencer, extended magazine and so on, then once you get another 100 kills you get another attachment unlock and so on.

if i may be so bold as to critique your play style. from your videos i notice what i see as excessive cloak use, this in mind i also see that your more of a long range supporter then anything else i do feel that you could use a little less cloaking tho just seems a tad poor to me to travel the entire field in cloak

@CoolMan893 No, a player has 120 health, it does 115 dmg per shot, chestshots do 1x dmg, headshots are 2.2x dmg - so if someone is at 96% health or less, it one shots to the chest, it also ignores armor mode.

@DJWhizzkidd100 You cant really defend a crashsite with a sniper rifle because people just throw grenades and jump into CQB - I think my team benefit much more from 3 orbital strikes, 2 gunships and continuous crashite sniper cover.
