  • sirhc141 Tree for Tree is the only option in this case and yes, plant trees that are compatible to the hydro line ( wont grow tall enough) or different planting location as you suggest

  • I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder???!!!

  • Trapped trees. The sad thing is that they field less complaints leaving crap like this in peoples yards than they would if they actually "cleared" the right of way. Can you imagine the phone ringing at edison if they ran a hydroaxe down the right of way? Trees, pools, sheds, and fences be damned! Cut that crap down and clear your easements.

  • These trees were butchered, no go arborist techniques used. should have the trees look as natural as possible!

  • @isaac1036 The only effective arborist technique for those trees would have been removal. Which Edison doesn't want to spend money on, or the homeowner refused as an option, so they would have something to bitch about.

  • @isaac1036 Tree under or near lines will never look good with the rotation of tree cutting over years, You see people, you can either have electric and keep warm wathc tv , play computers ect or be done with it so you can have a nice looking tree, you cant have both.,

If it were my guys that cut them trees in the vid i would have had them take them down and offer a tree 4 tree replacement that would not be planted BACK under the lines like ive seen various times in the past
