VERY nice work, not to say you're wrong at all (this works aweome) I find at the intro/verse if you play a half bar, and then the second half remove your bass note to make it open, emulated the bass line perfectly. There's a small run I pull in the chorus too which does the same job of emulating the bass, something like  E
