In all honsesty; she was nothing special, quite adequate really, just reaching the notes and sometimes being out of tune. Sure, if she was on the x-factor she wouldn't have got through on this, but she has really evolved and maybe she's not a great singer, but she is an amazing performer now and has worked hard to get where she is. its up to you whether she deserves it or not but thats the long and short of it really

If you watch the auditions, there were loads of people who sounded like Leona Lewis who were told "you're excellent but not right for a band." Cheryl does good harmonies and sings good one-liners. She was EXCELLENT in her band and was the fan favorite.

if she wasn't pretty she would not have been looked at twice let alone put thru , and that is sadly today why so much is made of her , she is only average , doesn't sing all that good so you can't say wow wat a voice like you could about Leona Lewis ,

she's a crap singer - not being able to be beyonce or mariah isn't the point - her tone is thin and out of tune. she's gorgeous but her singing sucks. that's why her songs have autotune on them. Because she can't stay in tune - as this clip proves. To be a pop star you don't actually need much musical talent - you just need to look good doing it. Look at Britney Spears.

sorry, but loads of it was flat! Cnt believe she was on this show! Talent has defo improved over the years! Her voice is so weak aswell (sorry cheryl fans but it was). It shows how much editing they use nowadays. Lovin x factor this year! Danyl is amazing, jedward have now left!

surprises me how she is allowed to sit on a judging panel and cast Judgement on anybody's singing when she has no talent of her own to speak of !! even this week the silly cow broke the rules and used an Elton John song when it was a George Michael week , and simon had the audacity to have a go at Louis cos he pointed it out , simon's probably worried if he crosses "Basher Cole " she might smack him one too !!

EXACTLY , she's had a few years in a girl band DOES'NT constitute experience , she has no ear to spot a really good singer , any one can sit there and say that performance was good , like she does every week you need to have a knowledge in the business to be able to judge if you havent and she clearly has'nt she SHOULD'NT be on the panel ,
