yo think you did not feel welcome simply because the crees are a shy people. give them and they will open up to you. they are good people and friendly to everyone
Drove to Chisasbi in Sept. 2001. Incredible trip. It has stayed with me. I remember these places...especially the beach at James Baie. So remote and away. Did not feel welcome by the Cree but I suspose that is their way and I do want to return. The land calls me back. I have a woven basket from that trip and a nice stone from the Baie. Great story and visuals my friend. Thank you for posting.
