@b1gbudda 1.4J means that he has a Japanese version of the ds, you have 1.4E which is the European version. I have the 1.4U for the Unites States version. It works for all, but i do believe the r4 is better than the acekard.

its a R4i Gold they have cracked the 1.4 update so if you want it to work go buy a R4i Gold or one of those happy box things ive got one on the way

I can't play games with my R4i Gold. I get the same problem as the R4-SC and other cards... The R4i Gold har the newest kernel (firmwire).

If you guys go to the r4 website, there is a new kernal upgrade that allows some older R4 such as SDHC to run on the Dsi 1.4. Though your gonna need a dslite or dsi without 1.4 to do the upgrade.

my dsi doesnt connect to the internet i tried it so many times but it failed. i hav an r4i gold but it can only be used on a dsi 1.4 ... which is why i rlly need to update my dsi but i don't know how

@xobluewavexo mine dsi is updated and i can tell you how i did it.

you go to system settings.

3th page, and select internet

then select user agreement

then there stands: DSi Network Services Agreement. You must connect to the internet to continue. Is this OK?

select yes (of course you have to have an acess point)

then you get an user agreement

then select yes ,agree and than OK

and in mine case it updated my DSi.

sorry i just got the acekard2i and looked into it, it wont work on the dsi. you can get an r4i gold which WILL work on the dsi 1.4 for 15$
