@x2maconaers Not at all, It was only able to do so because the Romans and Sassanids fought centuries of wars weakening each other, and even then it was EXTREMELY closely ran. Had the Arabs lost Yarmouk (which they nearly did on the fourth day of battle), the Caliphate and the Muslim religion would have fallen apart and into obsurity

Not only did they combine european and asian cultures but they were descendants of romans; having conquered lands belonging to romans and even the Ottoman sultans married roman european women. You say the West stole from Africa, but I wonder how, when the west set up business there, there was no concept of countries or ownership. The BE itself was succesful thanks to the American colonies, the British learnt that they needed to involve the locals and colonists more and not just rule with an iron grip like say France - ex French colonies are some of the poorest least healthy countries on earth.

2. Diamonds were mined for, which was paid for, by companies. This is seen today globally, companies pay for the rights to mine in a country.
The most bloody parts of the world continually is the Middle East, for its 3 religions that cant mix. The West were the first to ban slavery and create legal human rights.

The reason the British Empire was successful is because it involved the local people and used democracy, whereas the Netherlands stole and France tried to rule with an ironfist.
