lol Idra is such a dweeb. All he had to do was creep spread till a spine crawler is in range of bunkers and make roaches in the mean time, he already had one gas and could have canceled metabolic boost.

I'm sure Idra cried about the cheese, then cried about terran etc... I've run this exact strat in ladder and a good zerg can repel it and break it. Idra just gets to uncomfortable when he cant fast exp. Idra is supposed to be elite but cant play a one base zerg for 10 min?? lol what a dweeb

@bpm9595 dude this is grandmaster. as soon as idra gets enough for roaches hes invested too much into breaking him when terran can just get more bunkers at his main... and if idra cant break terran with roahes im sure terran would have gotten banshees which is game either way. this is why idra gg'd but ofc its an uphill struggle.

What cheese. That's the shame: usually pro players go in for more interesting macro games but the same cheap strategies used as crutches by shoddy players are even more viable in the hands of pros that can execute them better.

If I had a ticket to that I'ld demand boxer and the guy who desiged the SCVs to sign it with - "I'm an SCV and I won a pro-game" and their names. boo hoo the game didn't go into late game. IrdA's fault for not having the ability to handle new situations.

You don't understand that rushes are risky attempts to gain a temporary army advantage and use that fleeting advantage to damage your opponent enough to compensate for how weak you are from hurrying to make your rush-force.

I watch pro games to see tight micro, intense battles, interesting strats and dynamic play. It reads like you'd be content to watch players race to implement their all-ins.

The only rush I liked was Argos' spine crawlers b/c it was clever.

@Kogerii Yea, because punishing your oponent for choosing to heavy macro is such a 'weak' play. Attacking their weakness is so 'weak'. Here's a new concept you must've not heard. The pros who play in the GSL, and other events like it, play to win. They don't consider your feelings on the matter. They consider the pros and cons in actions. Opponent focuses on econ too much? Well you can just sit back and fondle your units, I'll run on in and punish my opponent.

@sake02 Going one base muta is suicide at such a high level of play. By the time he could do that Jinro would have plenty of marines, another expansion and possible Thor. Zerg has to stay at liest one base up to stay up on his macro.

too long a delay. Before his bunkers drop Jinro can salvage them and have his marines flee so he loses nothing. Meanwhile he can expand and/or build an army to counter idra. Whenever they fought idra would be out-econ'd and/or facing a superior army and/or facing too dug in a Terran.
