This rocks! I live here! Great work man, great vid. Stop by gotbush dot org for the bush flying addiction. I request a video, of the HOH river, name long ago by the natives, Hoh, One who visits many lodges.. :)
Very nice video here. Thanks for the trip. Loved it. I just got the same plane from Carenado and I'm amazed how cool it is. Actually my first payware plane ever. Thanks. Keep on doing the good stuff.
Notice the video was created with all AMD hardware. People that say AMD suck should watch this video! If you know how to configure a PC properly and maintain it, any modern system will run fine. AMD FTW
@loonetik AMD is just as stable as Intel from the factory. Now if you try and overclock a Phenom II to 5 GHz on air then it will become unstable. Same goes for Intel. AMD is just as good as Intel for far less money.I could care less to spend double, triple, or even quadruple the price just to get less than 10 more FPS in games where I'm already getting over 100 FPS. In games that are new and the difference is 2-5 FPS which is useless because you can already achieve 40 FPS in crysis with AMD. GG
@flyer176 ive owned many machines. My experience has shown that AMD isnt as stable as Intel. Thats why most servers run Intel. AMD is cheaper, and theres a reason for it. By the way FPS != stability.
@flyer176 AMD is just at stable but I have got my intel chip at 5GHZ 24/7 stable there's nothing that AMD has out that can get any were near the new Intel cpus, until bulldozer that is.
Yeah, it does that. You can also define custom cameras like the tail or pilot view in this video, that you can just switch to with a key or key combination of your choice. You can modify the way the camera shake behaves to your liking and you can also do free camera moves like in the beginning and the end of the video. On top of that you can customize the way your POV ministick behaves while controlling the view in the virtual cockpit. Speed and smoothness are freely adjustable.
No matter what I do, I never manage to make FSX run that smooth unless I really cut down graphical options. My processor is an E8400 and I have a HD5850 and 8 gigs of RAM. Am I doing something wrong? What are your FSX settings? Did you tinker with something in the cfg?
Nope, no tinkering. I gave up on tweaking the cfg a long time ago, because it usually made matters worse rather than better. It's hard to say what the problem is. Your graphics card should be fine and you have enough RAM. FSX gets most of its performance out of the CPU, maybe it's that? I'm running a Phenom II 940, which is a quad core, at 3,3 GHz. You could try limiting your framerate. I get very good results at 30 or 22 fps while the sim tends to stutter at "Unlimited".

My late Grandfather built Leisureland airfield in the early 1940's. Boy has the area changed since I lived there.

Jigsaw, do you have to change any of the graphics settings to run their addons? How is it on the frames?

So, you claim that AMD is good just because the guy has taken 1 6 minute video. GG
As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. If you want something cheap that isnt as stable get AMD.

If you guys wanna fight about who owns the better hardware there are plenty of fanboy forums on the web. This isn't the place for that. ;)
