Probably Rocky wouldnt lose in real life. He had perseverance and courage to motivate him to keep fighting, while Drago just wanted to be the best fighter, with no purpose. Even if Drago was stronger, Rocky's faith and determination gave him the strenght to beat even a full of steroids giant russian. Thats the point.

So, it was kind of unfair for Apollo to be shown like that.
