I cannot remain optimistic here in Portland any more things are so bad. The REAL unemployment rate here is 55% or more. I have been lied to about work and sent on interviews to non-existant jobs. I have a 5 year degree in Accounting and do not do drugs or booze. I have had my resume re-written and can get nothing. I have to use a walker due to a car wreck that was not my falt and can't get SS after 13 years of fighting it and lost for the 5th time. Things are bad and cannot be happy anymore.

I cannot remain optimistic because MSI closed here in Portland after being here since 1988 for lower wages in Arkansas. Deep down I know I won't be able to get a job in a call center even with a 4 year college degree in Accounting. I know two people who have masters degrees who cannot find a job. You can go to lots of workshops that I have done and still do not have work. I want to work for many firms but the jobs just are not there. I do not know what I am going to do because there are no jobs.
