  • wow definitely awesome looking

  • Hi, what computer did you use? or use currently to edit?

  • Does this camera work for macs? Cuz wanna buy this and start editing my videos with iMovie :) let me know if you have any idea!

  • @ForeverZoe17 My friend who has a mac said it wasn't easy to get his footage to work on his machine but it is definitely possible :)

  • @ForeverZoe17 My friend who has a mac said it wasn't easy to get his footage to work on his machine but it is definitely possible :)

  • @ForeverZoe17 If you get a software called Titanium Toast and drag your footage in to the section with, i believe, an ipod, and convert your footage you can edit on a mac. Really easy the program turns over the AVCHD codec in to a codec understood by imovie/final cut.

  • @ForeverZoe17 I do that, I just put everything in iphoto and imovie just pulls it from there. Easiest way to do it I think.

  • @ForeverZoe17 I can import to Final Cut X using the memory card but the files I had on an extrernal hard drive I had to covert. I got an app (iVL) for under $5 that works great.

  • How well does the mike pick up voices?

  • Hey,

I have film magic pro, could you tell me which preset you used?

    Thanks

  • @hasanhalai123 We used the Blue Easy preset for this video.

  • @Evolstud thnx, another question.

How do you like the canon hfs100's manual focus. Looks pretty good, have you made a fake blur anywhere or i this all just the canon. (except for the color correction)

  • That was f***ing sick!! What colour correction settings did you use you have to show us a tutorial

  • @oOADROo Nothing special here. We used a color correction preset from VideoCoPilots film magic pro. Sorry to disappoint :)

  • @Evolstud No problems m8 and thanks for replying :-)

  • what color correction settings?

  • wooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I hate when people get this good of quality out of this type of camera because I cant sometimes lol.

  • The video looked JUST LIKE THIS right out of the camera?? :-O

  • @MarshallArtsWorks No this was a film look test. We added aspect ratio and color correction.

  • can you tell me the setting of your camcorder? i mean the mode and etc.. thanks!! really nice video :)

  • why doesnt my video come near where as yours? i tried both imovie and windows movie maker and the quality is really bad!

  • this looked like a trailer it was amazing and i like the ash part.....

  • @HaloHamstur Thanks. These are just random clips put together, but I think the ashes look cool too :)

  • Please let me know your camera settings

  • @jefry235

Default. We used Cinema Mode on this one. Then we color corrected with Film Magic Pro.

  • hey bro what were the settings on ur camera

  • @asifnur2 Everything was on auto + Cinema mode

  • Was audio recorded with the cameras microphone or an external?

  • @Catshit324 The audio was recorded with the cameras built in microphone.

  • is the legaria the same thing as the vixia, or are there diffrences

  • @spartan349 legria is sold in europe, vixia in usa.. no difference other than that (just region codes are different)

  • @byroll And framerates.

  • Wow mate ! Great propper job ! I have both sony vegas pro and also film magic pro. Could you direct me through the steps/ effects you used if it isn't too much of a hassle ? Thanks in advance buddy.

  • @iGalvanize We used After Effects and Videocopilots film magic pro for the color. But I'm sure you can find some online tutorials about color correction for Vegas.

  • Looks good , i luv it <3

  • did u use any color correction ? it looks very cinematic?

  • @pandanese90 yKsStudios

    @KarasProductions

Film Magic Pro and Aspect Ratio by Videocopilot was used. Forgot to add in the description. My bad :P

  • Hi, this looks great. Did you film this 24p?

  • @Villesanti No, this was shot in 25p... film standard in Europe :)

  • @Villesanti It's basicly the same.

  • when you say the difference in frame wht does tht mean

  • @UpNcumin Basicly, it's not something you should worry about, if you live in US. Over there standard frame rate for movies is 23.976 or 24. We europeans and the rest of the world just took the next best one which was 25. I'm definetely not the one who can explain all this technical stuff. Do a google search, there are hundreds of sites that talk about this :)

  • Wat does it look like before u add the effects to it? Is it anywhere as good as this? And if you can, can you post a video without the effects?

  • @kecieIII Sorry for not answering your question earlier. In this video we actually tried not to change the result too much. Yes the footage looks very good on its own and combined with a little bit of color correction... it looks like this :D And yes we will upload the original peace soon.

  • was it easy to get this look from the camera? I was thinking of getting this camera juz mainly for this purpose, but i also read that some ppl had problems getting this look. So is it really that difficult, and does the camera have any main problems thats worth telling everyone before they buy it?

  • @cwells41 This camera comes with a desperate need for a wide lens, that we haven't got yet, but we are looking to buy a Raynox HD 7000PRO, but you could check out Canon WD-H58 as well. We didn't have any attachements on the camera so I don't think you vould say that it is hard to create this look. We only used the old zooming trick to create the cool depth of field. Note that this is not just the camera alone. We used videocopilots film magic pro for the color and a bit of aspect ratio.

  • @Evolstud P.S. I completely recommend this camera, but I have to say that this is the Canon HF S100 Legria not Vixia. I don't know if there are any major differences between Europes and Amercas versions except for the frame rate ;)

  • damn, what movie is this scene from, lol jk. Nice ass camera.

  • @cwells41 The movie would be called "The boring adventures of my parents" :D

    Thx for the comment ;)

  • Is this on cinema mode? Please reply.

  • @AngrySlop

    Yes it is.

  • amazing..were is the acting?

  • @nil1230 This is filmed in Latvia. Liepaja to be exact.

  • did u use some effects? or something?

  • @KarasProductions

Film Magic Pro and Aspect Ratio by Videocopilot was used. Forgot to add in the description. My bad :P

  • @yKsStudios

nicee it look very nice :) but did u recorded that on 24p?

  • @KarasProductions This is the Canon hfs100 Legria. That's the Europe version and it only has 25 an 60 fps. This was shot in 25p.

  • @KarasProductions yeah i can see he changed colours anyways

  • ew cool..

  • @sidiboj ;) tnks
