Oh yes, Just drop your line from boat with your jig & crap about 6 inches to a foot above the oyster beds. The bite is very faint, but you'll get the hang of it. Good luck.
Hi, I've never tried blackfishing but I'm very intrigued.....what rigs should I use and do you know any spots that you don't need a boat for on the long island sound....i live in stony brook thank you

Yes they do! Just bounce the jig on the bottom wait for the nibbles. Allow them time to swallow the hook and bingo! Fish on.
