Where did you get this model? Your video is great. I had a toy clockwork sub when I was a kid in the 50's. It looked like a U.S. "S" boat. I cannot find one anywhere. Would love to have one.
Wow! Very neat and "rare" with all things considered. It was Arthur L. Busch who developed the USS Holland (SS-1). The company that was founded (Electric Boat/General Dynamics) never acknowledged the events leading up to the success and purchase of the United States Navy's first submarine. The company has sought refuge in very poor memories to avoid "unwanted publicity" regarding these events as they keep a very low profile in the process. Others took credit for this pioneering achievement at EB
