Now, I have a problem with my earphones...

I pluged them out and when I pluged them in again, the phone didn't show the earphones Icon, it just doesn't recognise them... Is it somewhere in the settings or something?

There is no torjon virus which could effect symbian OS......may be u have installed many application and games as well as many themes....

and try to change ur SMS saving memory to MEMORY CARD.....via SMS settings/others option......

If its not working then

just made a hard reset by pressing

*#7370#(lock code)

My 5800XM software version is v20.0.012, custom version 20.0.012.C02.01, dated 26-01-2009, but problem still there.

the only way to solve this problem is drag MP3 files to 5800XM from file explorer directly, do not use nokia tools or music manager to transfer.

if you use nokia music tool, it will make optimization for your cellphone, and transform music file to eAAC+ , AAC or M4A format automatically.

these transform caused 5800XM can not identify the volume of the music. So...

all my music is stored by dragging and i have this problem sometimes ... i noticed this happens only when the battery is low - as you see from the video as well

i have exactly this problem. my software version is software version 11.0.009 - dated 05-01-2009, custom version 11.0.008.217.03 on O2 UK. please sort this bug out Nokia as it is a real nussiance!
