Mufti Taqi Usmani 19th Dhul Hijja 1412 AH: I have replied to you letter and I hope that you have now received the earlier letter. In Saudi Arabia the sighting of the moon has been accepted before even the birth of the moon on many occasions which is impossible in my view. I have discussed the situation with many Saudi Ulama and they are also disturbed with these occurrences however since this is in the hands of the Majlisul Qadha Al-A’la they are helpless
Z Hejja ه ١٣٩٩ (Shekha Bin Baaz) The grand scholar Mufti of Saudi Arabia (Al Bathul Islami p 63) After doing extensive research on this issue, he concludes with this statement. ‘As for those who say that it is necessary to follow the sighting of Makkah (SAUDI) then let it be known that there is no proof or basis for this in the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah’.

Yes your right, the audience kept on asking him the same question. Without understanding what he was saying. And infact only Shaykh Haytham provided a solution to the problem, everyone else was just sticking to their own point blindly.
There is no or not has been any solution or alternative dicission. So Shykh Hytham mkes more sense in the light of quran and sunnah n it is more authentic. We dnt even have a authority ere of giving fatwa regarding moon so it would be better to follow makkah. But der are som foolish n ignorant ppl who wud not follow makkah coz of they dnt agree with the ulama coz they tlk against bidah (innovation) e.g. celebratin birth of nabi SAW with cake.(innovation).
asalamualaykum brother, kindly change what you have written in the video description, because I live in the UK and I have knowledge of how and when the moon is t b sighted,so you can not just generalise like that. it is not right nor islamic
Assalamualikum, my dear brothers, This is not a subject that can be solved by the means of a little discussion like this. There should be a an institutional study regarding the moon sighting based of Quran, Hadeesh. Try to converge scientific knowledge of today with these two things. All people should participate without any intention other than to follow the truth.
