Her: Good! Blah blah blah blah blah?

    Me: Oh! Um...Er....

    Her: Yes, good!

  • KARESHI?

  • Kawaii can mean pretty as well.

  • im starting to pick up the language pretty quickly, the only thing im so confused on is "onegai shimasu" i dont know when and how to use it properly its used with so many different things.

  • @XHaileySama if you please someone used that words in the end

  • Omg. Trying to learn some Japanese before I move there .... I'm doomed

  • kanojo wa kawaii desu

  • As far as I know, these are rarely used, right? if you want to address someone you usually say his or her name instead of he/she, or am I wrong?

  • i saw her vids a min ago for i can learn japanese but the host is hot ! im in luv :}

  • arigatou yuu sensi. could you teach how to write in Japanese plese?

  • How do you say my ___ is very ___ .

    I want to say

My cat is very cute/cool .

I know the ending is like, kanojo wa neko kawaii desu.

  • Watashi no neko ga kawaii desu. I'm sure there are a lot of ways to say that, but that's one of the ways I was taught.

  • @Fuzzeah oh god i took it the wrong way! or was it meant to be "that way"?

  • @SuperSupersaiyan99 Which way do you mean what? XD

  • @Fuzzeah my cat is very cute = atashi no neko ga kawaii desu.

  • you are an amazing teacher! This is much better than learning languages in school.

  • Wow that was slightly ignorant bulletproof.

But neverheless, thank you Ms Yuu.

  • cam kawaii mean pretty and cute? thanks for the video!! i wads learning spanish and its almost exaclty like this!! hehe

  • karera wa kawaii desu? guys can be cute? lol i didnt know that.

  • rofl xD

  • @mashi384 Why? :0

  • Atashi is the informal for females. :3

  • random, cause in other japanese teaching sites and in anime kanojo is " girlfriend "

  • Kanojo is just a word for woman.

  • it's coz of english languege. Don't forget that in other langueges, for example in german Freunding means also girlfriend but it means as well the friend who is female.

  • wow! what a great lesson! this is my first but i will surly review the rest. but if the group is a mixture of girls and boys is there a particular word for that?

  • oops. never mind. watched it again. so boys and girls together in a group is karera. will try to be a better student! hehe

  • kawaii means cute or pretty. kirei means beautiful. hope that helps.

  • why on one of her videos does she a please is onai gai shi mas? i thort please (when asking) is ku da sai, or (when offerring) do zo? im very confused. can you explain, Arigato.

  • there is more than one way to say something and get the same point across in a language. kudasai by itself and onegaishimasu can both be used when asking for something. to say please give me...

  • yah kudasai is easier to normal peopel. Onegaishimasu is like.....resturaunt stuff lol

  • you can say onegai too, actualy most japanese say onegai insted of kudosay.

when i think of it you say kudosay for asking for an item and you say onegai when u asking for someone to do something O.o

  • kudasai is less polite then onegaishimasu.

You use kudasai with family and anyone close to you. You use onegaishimasu for people you don't know or aren't very familiar with because you want to come off as respectful.

    Hope I helped :)

  • heys, i just want to know.

Does kawaii mean cute or pretty? because she keeps mentioning that pretty = kawaii. i thought pretty is kirei, instead of kawaii?

    Can somebody help me! T.T

  • you're right as far as i know. im quite convinced that kawaii is cute

  • kawaii = cute/pretty kirei = beautiful

you can say that kirei is a higher form of kawaii

  • Kawaii is SO overused :[

    I hate that word because people use it too much ;-;

  • @AllysaZombie123 You know what comes to mind when I see the word Kawaii? I think of American Otakus, Weaboos, and Wapanese.

  • How are you? DOKKOI DOKKOI!!!!

  • すてき きれい 顔が美しい セックシ

  • these videos really help me. Arigato!

  • ahgitato

  • Arigato!!!!!

  • i cant study whit this teacher...

is hard to pay atencion in what she is saying =P

  • drsnowmon = idiot

  • kanojo wa kaiwaidesu

i dont know if i spelledit write

  • 彼女 わ かわい です

    kanojo wa kawai desu

  • I think a more appropriate way to say it would be:

    彼女はきれいです。

    kanojo wa kirei desu.

  • Kawaii has two I's.

  • Chotto kowakattan darou, sore ha. Boku mo minna ni nihongo wo oshietai kedo, taitei machigaeru kara shita hou ga yokunai to omotteru...

  • I love Japanese! I've been trying to learn it on my own for a while, but these videos really help me!

  • Kanojo wa utsukushii desu. Karera ryoko

suru ni Nihon koro benkyo Nihon-go.

  • Japanese is awesome! I want to learn it but some people tell me Mandarin is more useful so I don't know!

  • well, can other people really force you to do something you don't want to do? Learn Japanese because you enjoy it!

  • hell yeah!

  • damn you are pretty!!

  • watashi wa jyu ni sai desu and thisi luv speaking japanese =3

  • watashi wa jyu-go sai desu ^.^ i can write in hiragana and katakana but dont got right keyboard

  • anata wa onna no hito desu ka?

  • I'm just starting to learn Nihongo. I was told men and women talk differently, is this true? And if there is a differnce, may I ask what it is? (Is it different words or just they way everyone speaks the same word)

  • I know you posted this a loong time ago but yes, there is a difference. "watashi" is formal for both genders. "boku" is informal for males. I forgot what the informal way for females was, I saw it in a comment on another one of these videos.

  • japan rocks itsumo arigatou hounto arigatou

  • arigatou

  • is that all ppl can say arigatou lol XD

  • Isn't it spelt arigato...

  • It depends on which romanization standard is being applied. Usally it's spelled either arigatoo, arigatō or arigatou to indicate that the last vowel is a long vowel. Even though many people romanize it as "arigato", it is actually a bit misleading when it comes to the length of the last vowel "o".

When writing with japanese input, you type "arigatou" to get the correct spelling; ありがとう

  • lol hai,

  • ARIGATOU!!!!

  • thanks!

  • What hard for me learning Japanese is probably remembering the alphabet you know like kanji etc...

  • kanji are symbols

  • okay thanks for clarifying that for me

    gomen-nasai!

  • I like japanese

  • watashi mo

  • nice video

  • Japanese is a little easier than I thought! :-3

  • no.... it isnt -_-

  • If you are a native speaker of English there is no reason why Japanese should be hard to speak. The hard part that requires total commitment is writing. I recommend formal training classes or a total commitment on your part. That is the tricky part of the language.
