I am wanting to try and use this song for my class graduation at the end of this school year. Could you please tell me where I can find the music? I have tried looking on Ebay as the video suggests but cannot find anything. Please help! Thank you xx

@1jwctexas The name is School Year Goodbye (to differentiate it from a goodbye song that children might sing at the end of each school day). I wrote it for my class's graduation finale.

How long would it take to teach a class of five year olds to sing that tune with at least 70% coherence?

None of my classes had any trouble with it. We had the months of the year (in chronological order) posted on the board and we recited them as part of our morning exercises. Perhaps that is what made the difference for them. We started practicing the script and songs about a month before graduation. Not all the songs were new, however, so this made memorizing the new material easier.

We also used visuals during the performance, eg, a cardboard jack o'lantern to represent October. This aided in the memorization of this particular song.

Children today & dating back to 1960's minds & body mechanics are not developed properly through day camps & school systems so kids have a true understanding that one day they will not be kids &eventually will be responsible for their own lives. worst type of abuse of a child other than parental abuse is same age peer abuse & a system that allows children from their most helpless stages to believe phony things about society & the world of the future through all types of TV not just violent shows
