  • Is this an awareness test?

I saw the moonwalking cat at 1:00 !

    LOL

I'm curious why they can't bring down the weight of these bikes. My 56cm road bike weights in at 19 pounds.

  • Yes. Some folding bikes do weigh less than 19 lbs; however, the majority do not. Typically, this is due to the added complexity of folding bike frames, stems, etc. but it also comes down to costs. How many bikes of any type do you know that weigh less than 25 lbs & cost below $300???

  • What is the model name of the red folding bike (your favorite). Where can I buy? Thank you.

  • I hope these are good because the kent standard size bikes are crapolla

  • I have only ridden the Kent Superlite & Ultralite folders. Following is why I like them:

    1. They're lighter than anything else in their price class.

    2. They use tried & true components that can be repaired/replaced economically.

    3. They're outfitted with all the basic accessories that cyclists typically want (kickstand, fenders, rear carry rack & folding pedals).

Though not perfect, the Kent folding bikes provide transportation that's reliable, useful, economical & easy to maintain.

  • are kents anygood i own a 2004 (wich i bought brand new in febuary 2008) kent ripsaw model

  • It depends on the model. The original Kent folding bike was heavy (def not a fav); however, the Superlite and Ultralite models are great - they're light, sturdy, absorb road shock, outfitted with practical features (carry rack, fenders & kickstand) plus they use easy to find components.

  • no mine is not a folding bike mine is a kent international ripsaw boys 18 speed mountain bike

  • I'm not familiar with that model.

  • oh ok but it is made by kent

  • yeah what's up with the lack of light

  • I shot the video at dusk. When I setup the camera for the shoot, I set the light settings manually but had to take a phone call. BThe call only took a few minutes but the light settings had changed. Unfortunately, I didn't reset the camera... I'll be shooting another comparative video of all 3 models soon. Once it's online, this video is history.

  • very cool! i want the nexus!

    & cute cat, btw. :D

  • The Nexus 3 spd is available for just $209 including shipping (within the USA lower 48). For more info, go to RideTHISbike dot com

  • It would have been nice to have some lights on or do the video during the day so we could see the bikes better! :-)

  • nice
