  • Chris Cornell diskile this song by himself to not make it suspicious to be one of the best songs ever

  • meu dahora cara

  • Thanks a lot for posting this. Soundgarden are on of my all time favorite bands and a huge influnce for me, particularly their earlier stuff. You can check out my music at my channel. Peace.

  • the only interesting tune in ultramega ok together with "mood for trouble" ... the others are anonymous

  • @lvolcu Rolling Stone, Allmusic, Kerrang!, and Piero Scaruffi (as well as me and countless other Soundgarden fans) disagree but who are we right?

  • 3:35 = godhead

  • the only two songs of any musical value from this album are all your lies and beyond the value.meh.

  • @MrAlpixoid hey you read what I said to Ivolcu that's for you too buddy

  • @MrAlpixoid i think this is great its got a errie haunting sound.but thats just opion so to each his own.stop bitting each other it really gets old.peace out

  • Oh, and 'Circle of Power'. How could I have missed that?

  • This album always gets middling reviews - 'too much filler', stuff like that - and I've never understood why. It's got great songs (my favourites: 'Mood for Trouble', Beyond the Wheel' and 'Nazi Driver'), it's got metal, classic rock, blues, punk, instrumentals, humour ('665' and '667' and the cover of John Lennon's 'One Minute of Silence') . . . could it be that the reviewers just didn't understand it?

  • rytuyuyhioyutftuyiopoij[jpi;ytu ... Sorry I was wiping the jizz off my keyboard...

  • Ahead of it's time, what with the hair band crap at the time. One of their best.

  • true grundge like this only appeals to a small amount of people, screw sociality this kicks ass!!!

  • 4 : 49 really brings it , uplifting like many other Soundgarden songs ,really great ,fuck...

  • Check out this live version from 95.... Tells you how great this song really is. It's as badass a song live as I've ever seen.

    Search on youtube for...

    Soundgarden "Incessant Mace" 1995

Oh and this song was first demoed in 1985 with Chris playing the drums. These guys were basically kicking ass when Nirvana was in primary school.

  • Its incredible that something this visceral and bluesy came out of 1988, the same year that the top 100 songs were saturated in glam bands and pop metal. How the heck did pop culture ignore Soundgarden for three years!

  • after listening to soundgarden, I stopped listening to most other grunge era bands. They are musically pretty innovative, great guitar tunings, complex riffs and brooding solos, superb drumming and, of course, searing vocals

  • Fuukkkiinnn yeeeaahhhh... nicely done, kinda robert plantish in essence..

  • Just listened to the entire first album, its good but its songs are too much the same sounding.

  • @flamingpoodleofdoom You'll get used to it. They sounded pretty much the same to me too, now this is my favorite album.

  • i love this and the phiric version

  • A blast from the past! Thank you for posting.

  • i fucking love this sonnng

  • I fucking love this song!! the whole album has this cool bluesy rawness, a very underated album!!

  • its incredible i still have this tape i bought in 199222222222222!!!!!!

  • @1embletina heh, i was born in 1992, but soundgarden is my favorite band by far!!

  • @sayvar44

And it has that Doom metal feel to it

  • @07011111111 Good thing it's not... doom metal.

  • @07011111111 And PLAIN OLD RAWK 'N' ROLL

  • Great fucking song. Probably best on the album along with Flower and All Your Lies. Soundgarden was just a great fuckin band.....WAY ahead of their time.

  • wow, thanx for posting :) my ex gf got this cd and was missing it. too bad billions havnt heard SG and cornell, they really are the BEST of the rockers out there PERIOD ^^

  • shut up....

  • well youre a fag

  • Shhh.... ..you're babbling again.

  • 6:07 Amazing! =)

  • great song. Soundgarden proves to be the best grunge music band in the history of rock and roll. Just wished they hadn't broken up. Soundgarden rocks!

  • Randomn... thanks for posting these tracks.. I can't believe that I bought this album almost 20 years ago.. damn.

    on cassette !

  • Reminds me of old Sabbath when they started downtuning

  • i was just thinkin that....this really reminds me of their self titled song

  • It's got that sludgy, heavy feel to it

  • Actually the first three chords of the main riff sound exactly like that of Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused."

  • Ooooof..that guitar solo just creeps up on you dont it

  • So this is old Soundgargen, pretty cool. Has a Zepp descending 7 to 11 kinda thing. It's fun listening to this Ultramega OK, wasn't around for this, so it's like discovering something really good. Thayil and Cornell sound great. Yamamato has his own thing, is there any footage of him? How about Sundquist on drums, does there exist anything of the Deep Six compilation? Wikipedia doesn't mention what 3 tunes were on it.
