Thanks a lot for posting this. Soundgarden are on of my all time favorite bands and a huge influnce for me, particularly their earlier stuff. You can check out my music at my channel. Peace.
@MrAlpixoid i think this is great its got a errie haunting sound.but thats just opion so to each his own.stop bitting each other it really gets old.peace out
This album always gets middling reviews - 'too much filler', stuff like that - and I've never understood why. It's got great songs (my favourites: 'Mood for Trouble', Beyond the Wheel' and 'Nazi Driver'), it's got metal, classic rock, blues, punk, instrumentals, humour ('665' and '667' and the cover of John Lennon's 'One Minute of Silence') . . . could it be that the reviewers just didn't understand it?
Its incredible that something this visceral and bluesy came out of 1988, the same year that the top 100 songs were saturated in glam bands and pop metal. How the heck did pop culture ignore Soundgarden for three years!
after listening to soundgarden, I stopped listening to most other grunge era bands. They are musically pretty innovative, great guitar tunings, complex riffs and brooding solos, superb drumming and, of course, searing vocals
Great fucking song. Probably best on the album along with Flower and All Your Lies. Soundgarden was just a great fuckin band.....WAY ahead of their time.
wow, thanx for posting :) my ex gf got this cd and was missing it. too bad billions havnt heard SG and cornell, they really are the BEST of the rockers out there PERIOD ^^
great song. Soundgarden proves to be the best grunge music band in the history of rock and roll. Just wished they hadn't broken up. Soundgarden rocks!
So this is old Soundgargen, pretty cool. Has a Zepp descending 7 to 11 kinda thing. It's fun listening to this Ultramega OK, wasn't around for this, so it's like discovering something really good. Thayil and Cornell sound great. Yamamato has his own thing, is there any footage of him? How about Sundquist on drums, does there exist anything of the Deep Six compilation? Wikipedia doesn't mention what 3 tunes were on it.

@lvolcu Rolling Stone, Allmusic, Kerrang!, and Piero Scaruffi (as well as me and countless other Soundgarden fans) disagree but who are we right?

Search on youtube for...
Soundgarden "Incessant Mace" 1995
Oh and this song was first demoed in 1985 with Chris playing the drums. These guys were basically kicking ass when Nirvana was in primary school.

Actually the first three chords of the main riff sound exactly like that of Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused."
