Wonderful book!!! Peace and Love

I first read this book to get a "lay of the land" and am now reading it more closely, thinking seriously about it. Some many excellent thoughts. One concept I especially enjoy is "an eternal kind of life". This focuses on the quality of life in contrast to duration. We can only live in one world at a time, but can start now to live "an eternal kind of life" where the values begin to count NOW rather than waiting for "not yet." It is here and NOW that we need to care for others and the world.

What a rich and important message this is. I love what he said about thanking god that his Hindu neighbor can thrive. Perhaps the thinking can be extended further from "It's not about religion, it's about god," to, "It's not even about god, it's about living with kindness and an awareness of our interrelationships and interdependence."

John 14:6 -- Yes, Jesus is the way but Christianity doesn't represent Jesus very well anymore. Christians "possess Jesus" like Samir talks about religions "possessing God". Too bad you can see Jesus as the way and invite others to join him. Your approach is only to reject anyone not like you. You are the perfect example of religious bigotry. And you will influence others to follow Jesus by your bigotry? How?

I loved your book. The best description of myself I can think of is "Seventh-day Agnostic Universalist", and even that doesn't fit very well. Your book did two things for me: It opened me up more to the possibility of God and it made me realize that I have to cut other people some slack.

It iS SAD to see that you sold out Jesus, the Way, Truth and Life, adn the only way to God according to Him and the scripture, that you have turned away from at this late, but predicted hour. 1 Timothy 4:1 says that the Spirit says people will depart from sound doctrine, and follow doctrine's of demons. This is sad. But this is the end of the age that Jesus said would come about, seeing apostasy ripen. MATHEW 25, SHOWS THE AUTHENTIC BORN AGAINS ALONG SIDE THE TARES AND ONLY ONE GROUP IS TAKEN...

A false limited "Peace" is going to come before the authentic peace. It is all right there in the bible. We are ONe In Christ, alone. WE are all not one in each other and all the false gods, who Paul says are demons....Deception is coming for those who accept all paths lead to God and that we are the "fractals" or pieces of God. We are not divine and this wis where this thinking or worldview is going. Remember Jesus basis directions about the Narrow way that leads to life adn the broad road-hell

Revelation 17? A woman who cheats on god, filled with abominations, devoted to all the paths that lead to "god", forsaking Jesus Christ, the Way, Truth and Life, and only way to God,? This woman rejects the authentic for the falsehood. The woman made up of many people, who'll reject truth. They will take severe judment for creation worship. Read the bible.
