That is Lake Mistake....... haha I live in this crappy city really wish I didn't with the new HUGE mall coming to Monroe, I think I hear the last nail being put in the coffin. Great city councils over the years done this. Million to tear the roof off of city center mall for what empty stores. This town wasted tons of money over the years. Like trying to bring back a very very dead downtown. Which the new downtown is up near I-75. They need get out of the 50's and into the 21st century.

I used to live in Middletown and spent most of my youth there.  I am glad I left as it has went downhill. One of my first jobs was working at the old City Center Mall. Those were the days. I still have family there so be cool and keep on skulking!!

I grew up in Middletown also, got married and moved to Dallas 27+ years ago. It's really kinda sad cause I loved that city growing up. It's really gone down hill. City leaders tried too hard to draw people to downtown when the business moved toward the Interstate.

Wow I remember every area of the middie you showed! I lived there for 10 yrs. moved in '98!I live in Fl now. Some of my family still lives there though. Although Forbes mag. rates it #10 I believe on their fastest dying city list,thanks for the memory!

I live in m-town and it aint bad its just all the drug dealers and the crack heads who live here. I had some one who drove on the sidewalk in front of my house

WOW! Born n raised in M-town n fleed the scene 8 yrs ago to Dallas. Ive never got to see how it looked after they opened up the centre mall. I remember every place in this vid...alot has changed. Yes it has always been a ghetto town, especially South Midd where I grew up. And Dude...I cant believe you drank from that fountain! lol
