No, the Earth is very much so warming, but not because of carbon emissions. It's a natural process because of the Earth's axis and slant every 12,000 or so years when the tropics change. Arctic Ice is melting slowly, but Antarctic Ice is expanding rapidly.

President-elect Barack Obama will not attend the United Nations climate conference in Poland next month nor send a delegation on his behalf, the U.N. climate chief announced Monday.

Explaining his decision, Obama said, "There is one president at a time."

Obama isn't exactly green. He proposed the BioFuels Security Act in 2006, and is for nuclear power. Exelon is one of the biggest contributers to Obama's campaign, and Obama is planning to expand our nuclear power plant program. Just Youtube Obama's stance on nuclear power and do some research on his ties to Exelon. He's not going to give us the change we really need - it's politics as usual. Change doesn't come from a simple "vote" - Real change comes from direct action of the people.

Very well said, took the words right out of my mouth. People don't see Obama as exactly what he stands for because they don't bother to look up his voting record or the issues he stand for. This election, like every election, is like a beauty contest. He painted himself as some center-left liberal for change as oppose to Bush-McCain, when he's just another guy who's there to perpetuate the status-quo + our system of corporate greed. I can't feel enthusiastic about him for those reasons.
