Great run(s) and great car!
I had to sell my 1996 in 2002 and I've been depressed ever since,it's was my only new car I bought.
We sure had some fun together,car club,auto shows,dyno's,cruising.
Man I sure miss it...:(

it's not what car should win... it's what car did win.
when i pulled an Ultima GTR in my Impala the guy got all pissy and said i had all these mods.
i just said, "Ok, lets swap cars... i'll beat you in yours."

Gas prices are permitting me from driving my 91 Caprice, so it's nice to see a video of a B-Body in an Auto-X event. One badass Impala, people don't realize the fun in driving one of those bad boys till they're either in the drivers seat or shitting in the passenger seat. It must hurt to get your ass handed to you by a 2.5 ton family size sedan.

more avarage power across the whole rev range
my suspension is stiffer yet articulated better than a ferarri!!! Sorry :-)

Didnt prove more than that most ferrari drivers have money but no skills.
Come on, simple physics says that when pushed to the limits, that the american soap box cannot be faster. Simple physics.

Um. And this is completely stock? If it's not, then is there really any point in comparing?
Would happily see these cars head to head, driven around a track by a professional racing driver.

No my Impala is not stock.
The point is that this is a competition and its fun. Going fast is fun. Being one of the fastest on track in a full size / weight 4 door with an auto is Priceless.
