I think the soviets got it right 1st time round, 100 million Kalashnakovs have been made worldwide. (compared to 350 thousand SA80's), although the fire selector markings on the gun in this clip prove its the original Soviet model.

@MontezumaUH60 Well yes, but what hd did was take a whole new approach, he deliberatly made the parts loose fitting, based on stoppages being caused by high tolerences, and the majority of battle being cqb, not to mention its calibre, not the most precise, but if it hits you, you're down!

Yes they did, rusTORK is right. USSR declared war on Japan after germany surrendered but they never called it off. Kind of like a lupol.

general the Real AK47's rarely jam, but with so many knock offs these days who can say. Also a true Russian Ak can fire a 223 round used by US forces. You have to hold the M16 mag in place but it can fire. I have done it
