Goodness the things people argue about are honestly quite ridiculous, sometimes! Of course this is a true story! She calls the girl "streetwalker" so that people from her Church who might not know her testimony cannot identify her (moreso if her Ministry is televised, or in this case, freely available on YouTube!) It's only common sense and good courtesy not to air peoples' business, including real names, in public; but respecting someone's privacy is NOT tantamount to fabricating a testimony!

I am only going to say true story or not, it doesn't matter, because JESUS taught in parables in order for the people to understand the point that he was trying to get across. We all have to stop and not pass judgement on things that we don't understand because we make comments on subjects and our comments are out of ignorance. And unless we were there then who are we to call someone a liar. If it were me I would not want my name told until I am fully prepared myself to give the testimony.

How would anyone who's part of an amazing TRUE story, that REALLY happened, that ACTUALLY occurred, like to be called "streetwalker" fifty times.

I'm glad this story isn't about the amazing TRUE spiritual conversion of "crack whore"! That would make for an awkward telling.

True stories don't have real-life characters named "streetwalker." They have real lives, live in real cities, and can come to the church and tell their own TRUE stories using a name other than "streetwalker".

I love these stories that are supposed to be true. The pastor just says "true story!!" a few times, without any names, facts, references that would legitimize the story, and everyone in the room goes "PRAISE GOD!!"

She even calls one of the TRUE characters, "street walker"!

Really? A true story where the principal character is named "streetwalker"? That's pretty insulting, since the woman's name might be Allison, Mary, Lisa, etc.

But for the TRUE story, it's "streetwalker."

@urssincerely It's not a real story about a real person. That's why she can only refer to her as "streetwalker". My concern with the actual identity of such a person has nothing to do with my "turning my nose up" at anyone.

It's a horribly contrived "morality tale" used in a sermon to create an emotional response for people like you to do cartwheels over. it worked brilliantly because you had precisely the desired reaction.

If it were a real person she'd use her real name!! THINK!!
