Clinton created NAFTA. One hurricane, while a bad choice, totally pails in comparison to something that is hurting this country 8 YEARS after Clinton left office. Plus the current banking collapse can be traced back to policies enacted during the Carter administration.
Clinton didn't create NAFTA, it was George H. W. Bush that helped create NAFTA and conveniently handed it to congress before stepping out of the White House. Clinton just signed it...why? I don't know, he should have thrown in the trash where it belongs.
George H.W. Bush wanted to fast track NAFTA so that it could be signed before he left office. Since that wasn't accomplished, he was forced to pass it on to Clinton who made serious changes to the agreement. So many changes in fact that it couldn't get enough votes in the senate to consider it a "treaty".

Exxon's record earnings last year was only a 6% profit, whereas the tax on gasoline is 15%...therefore who is better, oil companies or our government? Plus the majority of those profits went to the shareholders which everyone has an equal opportunity to become. Everyone sees oil companies as bad, but as a business owner I see they have a product we all need and they sell it to us. I don't like paying high prices either, but I don't see anything they have done as unethical.
@zip68 first, maybe you should learn how to spell dumbass before you call someone one. Second, aparently I was wrong...I had someone tell me a few weeks ago that Exxon's profit is only 4%. If you are mad at high gas prices, you should be mad at the speculators because when oil hits like $100 a barrel, that is before oil companies buy it...that is what the raw oil is being speculated at. Not to mention that Exxon employs thousands of people with really good pay.
