@Invaderzimrules100 Yes, it's all 7 issues plus some additional material showing Jhonen's early sketches and early strips he did when developing Johnny. It's missing all of the "Meanwhile..." and Wobbly-Headed Bob segments, though. Those were all later reprinted in the Squee collection.

in 2006 nick brought zim back for for a few unaired episodes in 2006 on there spin off channel nick toons but canlelled again just after a few months. and they were going to air a tv movie spin off called invader dib but the invader dib tv movie was scrapped sadly :(

@JTheOrangeSamurai There are no new episodes. Only the original 27. I've seen other retro stations say the same thing about old shows. "New" could mean anything. New to that channel, new to that timeslot...doesn't necessarily mean new episodes of the show itself. Believe me, there haven't been any new episodes of Zim since it was cancelled.

The show was not cancelled because of how dark it was, it could of been part of the reason but i have read a interview with jhonen vasquez and from other sites that always say that it has been cancelled due to the ratings suffering after the first season.

@OfficialRandomgames It does make sense, it's a very dark show at times. I refuse to believe that it was solely because of a slight dip in ratings. Given how well the DVDs sold (enough to be released three times and given a deluxe collector's edition), in addition to the popularity of ALL the related merchandise over the years, and the still growing fanbase, the idea that it wasn't popular just doesn't cut it in my books. Nick had something special, and they got cold feet because it was too edgy

I love invader zim (hence my username) but the funny thing is I agree. Invader zim is a very dark show. I saw some of jhonen previous work is very dark. He tried to put some of his previous work into invader zim.
Ex: that Xmas episode, which I have forgotten th name, the first few minutes involve somone donating a human heart to zim.
@InvaderMoonthepsycho Actually...it's VERY violent and dark, but not enough to be pulled. But it's that crazy "cartoon violence." Even in the commentary Jhonen talks about how many characters actually get flat-out KILLED in some episodes (pay attention to the one with the giant hamster - the body count is through the roof in that one!). Then watch Dark Harvest and Game Slave 2 again and tell me the show isn't dark. But even that, not enough to get it pulled imo.

in 2006 nick brought zim back for for a few unaired episodes in 2006 on there spin off channel nick toons but canlelled again just after a few months. and they were going to air a tv movie spin off called invader dib but the invader dib tv movie was scrapped sadly :(

@JTheOrangeSamurai There are no new episodes. Only the original 27. I've seen other retro stations say the same thing about old shows. "New" could mean anything. New to that channel, new to that timeslot...doesn't necessarily mean new episodes of the show itself. Believe me, there haven't been any new episodes of Zim since it was cancelled.

i'm pretty sure it was canceled with a plan of 5 seasons and a movie and was cancelled because dark harvest got low ratings

Invader ZIM is SWEETNESS. I started watching it when I was three, and it's been my favourite show since I was nine. I am thirteen now and a huge IZ fan. Lately all I've been finding of this are copies that are $350 each, so, I wonder where I can find this boxset on eBay that's NOT going to overdraw my savings? LMAO.

The show was not cancelled because of how dark it was, it could of been part of the reason but i have read a interview with jhonen vasquez and from other sites that always say that it has been cancelled due to the ratings suffering after the first season.

@OfficialRandomgames It does make sense, it's a very dark show at times. I refuse to believe that it was solely because of a slight dip in ratings. Given how well the DVDs sold (enough to be released three times and given a deluxe collector's edition), in addition to the popularity of ALL the related merchandise over the years, and the still growing fanbase, the idea that it wasn't popular just doesn't cut it in my books. Nick had something special, and they got cold feet because it was too edgy

I love invader zim (hence my username) but the funny thing is I agree. Invader zim is a very dark show. I saw some of jhonen previous work is very dark. He tried to put some of his previous work into invader zim.
Ex: that Xmas episode, which I have forgotten th name, the first few minutes involve somone donating a human heart to zim.

@InvaderMoonthepsycho Actually...it's VERY violent and dark, but not enough to be pulled. But it's that crazy "cartoon violence." Even in the commentary Jhonen talks about how many characters actually get flat-out KILLED in some episodes (pay attention to the one with the giant hamster - the body count is through the roof in that one!). Then watch Dark Harvest and Game Slave 2 again and tell me the show isn't dark. But even that, not enough to get it pulled imo.
