  • he is so good that i could see the lady he was dancing with. ;)

  • ROMANIA <3 !!!!!1

  • It very impressive work, too bad he dead now

  • The only thing about this video that bothers me in even the slightest way, is that faux news was quoted for the death announcement. Top quote a one Mrs. Griffon; "Even true things, once said on fox news, are lies."

  • i get too be this dude in my theater class

  • superbe, cette vidéo est dans ma chaîne, comme favoris mais aussi dans mon blog, á voir

    trés bon

    merci

    Diana d´Argentine

  • Mimes are wearied af

  • OMG that suck im gonna kill my self

  • what is this gypsy magic!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he sucks, this is shit for stupid people who think this is amazing and they are so smart cause in they think only clever people can understand it... Well this is shit and you are insane if you like it, go to doctor.

  • @Thefighterspider Why did you end up watching this video if you have such a low opinion of pantomime?

  • @Thefighterspider

Your right, about at least 30 million of them who consider him to be the greatest mime ever. However, I would imagine you don't know what the word mime means, oh I know you, a real tough guy right, smart, got it all together, which awl mart are you at?

  • @thriftables I love math, physics and other stuff. My art is martial art. Actually i am very nice man, just polite guy. Entertaining for me Is when Late Christopher Hithcens mash up his opponent in debates about religion (Which i hate the most in life), But this stuff is meaningless, art should have a sense, coded answer in questions that we all haven't knew. I like theme about human lifes. This is just boring stuff. And Dude Do you really found out this stuff entertaining ? Seriously ?

  • @Landomitevids

    video was made in 2007

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain really ? you are watching howcast too?

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain No, he didn't. In many interviews he stated he got the moonwalk from black boys in the ghetto where he would visit...

  • マルセルさんを大好きで大好きで、来日すると何回も何回も見にいきました。亡くなったことがとても残念で悲しかったです。DvDが買えなくて悲しいです。ここで、また会えて嬉しいです。

  • ..........

  • im scared

  • R.I.P. </3

  • Can anyone find the video of Marcel Marceau doing the "Fable"? That's where he builds a tall brick wall and the moral of the story is "When you lock out your friends and neighbors, your palace becomes your prison". I saw it a few times in elementary and junior high.

  • Nice vid luv this..

Marcel Marceau perfomance realy is the best.

    pantomime realy nice to watch..

  • 'It's good to shut up sometimes'

    - Marcel Marceau

My all time favourite quote. I love Marcel!

  • 63 Peoples Lacks Of Art

  • <3 suplime, me mata Bip... <3 y kmo diria el maetro marceau " el silencio no existe en el escenario habla mi alma, y ese respeto al silencio es capaz de tocar a la gente, más profundamente que cualquier palabra"

  • Michael Jackson got da idea of da moonwalk from him

  • He once came to my country, but I didn't go to see him cause I dont understand French

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain No he didn't, it was Jeffrey Daniel who showed jacko how to do it

  • That was the most annoying circus music ever

  • mimes are creepy lol

  • His facial expression at 1:19 made me LOL.

  • the best mime of all

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain No Michael Jackson seen kids on the street doing it and he got it off them and also from Jeffrey Daniel. But MJ was the first person to call it the moonwalk.

  • @JordoLFC95 Actually he got most of his dance moves from Gene Kelly a famous actor now dead. Gene Kelly's best movie in my opinion was Singin in the Rain, I make a great Lina Lamont wait what was I saying?

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain no he didnt... moonwalk is very old..moonwalk was created im 1945... search for moonwalk history

  • classic mime is so entertaining. i don't know why the modern world makes it so weird and freaky! This is the real deal.

  • greatest mime of the world but he did not have a f#$@ng idea about dancing tango

  • Saw for the first time today...SO AWESOME!!! No one does unique things like this anymore. :(

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain Thats not true. MJ's older brother Jermaine was watching a dance show in Disneyland and he saw the moonwalk that Jeffrey Daniel and Garon Casper Candidate were doing it. After,Jermaine has told about the dance to Michael. Then Michael called Jeffrey's home and got a meeting. Then Jeffrey and Garon made the moonwalk which was called ''the backslide'' then. And michael got a chair and watched very carefully. And next three days he practiced the move and got it. That's story :)

  • This guy saved kids from the Nazis in WWII.

  • And here Mr. Marceau teaches us that it doesn't actually take two to tango at all.

  • In the 'tango dancer', what is the red object supposed to represent?

  • @xxxxxx06 it is his wallet that the his dance partner is trying to steal from him

  • That's exactly how I stomp out cigarettes

  • RIP

  • so... what was he doing during the second skit? I know he was trying to get *something* through a hoop, but I'm not really sure what's happening around that

  • @subpolarity Really? The skit was announced as "The Lion Tamer". The lion tamer. What do you think he was trying to put through the hoops.

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain sure you did.

  • i have seen better mime performances on breakdancers, i dont like so exagerated moves

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain LOL!!! YOU KNEW THAT FROM HOWCAST!! YOU FAIL!

  • The Best Mime I Ever Seen

  • Surprising that a man that old still has his talent.

I would've committed suicide with a life like that..

  • There's something inherently creepy about mimes, they're like sad clowns.

  • its amazing how he makes the things he does look so real so believeable

  • Mostly rubbish. Just pretend you're stuck in a box or something and get on with it.

  • sucks!

  • Jeffrey Daniel taught Michael jackson the moonwalk. V_V

  • who read something about this guy on wikipedia? ;)

  • Zzz...

  • thank you lordcron

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain Micheal Jackson got the moonwalk from a background singer from a group call Shalamar. The guys name is Jeffrey Daniel. There is footage of this also on youtube if you type in both names. Please be factual before saying things. PS. Jeffery got the moonwalk from the hood. Moonwalking was a pop lock move before Michael used it. I was doing it as a teen in the late 70's before Michael even seen it.

  • how could michael of got the idea for the moonwalk from marcel if it was invented way before he was born? the moonwalk wasnt mj`s idea...

  • I love the announcer

  • he scares me *hides* is it over yet? mime guys are scary*looks, scared, hides again*help me!

  • Definitely a person I would have loved to have met. Rest in peace father of mimery.

  • @singergx

First act= bitch, gimme my money back! i know it's a little tedious, but it's better than you think. he's quality.

  • un care mico moviendose.

  • there's something metaphysical about mime. they don't need anything. they create something out of nothing. or there never was something.

    .... or something :P

  • At 8:19 the lion from the MGM. Lol !

  • I was gonna say it 2 lolz

  • O lol!!

  • who the fuck cares who taught MJ how to moonwalk, its a fucking dance move get the fuck over it

  • we just learned about him in class and made a creepy pumpkin of him that looked like micheal jackson

  • I thought this was funny. Marceau was very talented.

  • Something you and your ignorant self can't understand

  • And who the fuck are you, forks4dinner ?

  • i remember seeing this as a kid. love this <3

    im 16 btw :]

  • Different strokes for different folks, everyone has different taste, but I thought this was creepy and completely boring. I could only take about 2 minutes of it until I had to turn it off.

RIP though, I know he was a highly esteemed member of the acting community, so I do show respect. :)

  • What an amazing guy! I saw him perform on two consecutive weeks at Covent Garden, London in the 1970s. There were people of all nationalities in the audience but there was no language barrier! Thank you for posting this.

    p.d. llamamé ¬w¬ mmmmh

    hot lineee hot lineee >:3

  • no he didn't. A moonwalk like dance has been done in the Black community since slavery. Cab Calloway, Bill Bailey, Bill Robinson, Earl "Snakehips" Tucker and many others were doing this dance as early as the 20s, long before Marceau came to prominence.

  • I've heard the same thing...I can't figure out why you got thumbs down?

  • Some folks just don't want to hear the truth. That doesn't take anything away from Marceau and his artistic contribution. But the fact remains that some variation of the moonwalk has been around long before he was born.

  • Jeffrey Daniels taught MJ how to moonwalk, but as I said that dance has been around for a very long time. Look at some of the old videos of Cab Calloway, Earl "Snakehips" Tucker & Bill Bailey. In the fifties there was a popular dance called the slop that incorporated a moonwalk like step.

  • Not true. Michael jackson learned how to moonwalk by watching talented kids in the ghetto dance and he "enchanced" it. those are MJ's own words.

  • He took lessons from Jeffrey Daniels. Do some research. What "ghetto" was Michael Jackson hanging out in? Daniels was his link to the "ghetto".

  • you do some research jeffery daniels helped co choragraphed some of his videos he never took lessons from him

and he never taught mike the moon walk

when you travel all over the world it only makes sense to observe your surroundings thats what mike did

  • MJ did not have to travel all over the world to see "ghetto" children. I can just see him, sitting in that Rolls Royce peeping through those tinted windows watching those "talented ghetto" children. Come on he was once a "talented ghetto" child himself. If anything he had someone load them up on a bus and bring them to his house.

  • but he didn't say ghetto he said inner city kids i was just parapharsing

alleviate your assertions when you have no where to back up your claims

anyway im through you seem kinda dumb...peace

  • Dumb?! You didn't/don't even know the origins of the dance. Daniel had been moonwalking(backsliding) & popping & locking on Soul Train for sometime & Jackson was a great fan of his long before their video collaborations & had contact before that time. On Dancing Machine one can see MJ was adding some street moves to the slick Motown choreography. The robot had been a popular street dance since late 60s, like moonwalk MJ gave it mainstream exposure. Ok Johnny come lately to AA culture.

  • lol WRONG !!! jeffery daniels and turbo taught mj the moonwalk he didnt just learn it by himself

  • lol your wrong.

  • im right type in jeffery daniels influence on michal jackson

  • lol i've already seen the video a long time ago and no where does he say he taught mj the moonwalk he was simply a

"CO-"choregraher for a few videos THATS IT

  • theres another video somewhere ive seen where he says he was taught by jeffery daniels and turbo

  • jajajajaaaaa amazing, that's so funny jajajjajajaaaaaaaa.... Marcel Marceau was the best mime of the world.

  • Fun Fact: He was Vannesa Marcil's grandfather

  • u mean vannesa marceau?

  • PAYASO.... =)

  • I see a little bit Charlie Chaplin in that walk at 00:40, just loved that part. :-D

  • this mime dudue showed MJ the moonwalk

  • hahaha not me eather xD

  • i dig it

  • lol fucken howcast video...

  • i watched the howcast video then came here

  • yeah me too. but this is kind of creepy and boring, i don't see how michael jackson got the idea for the moonwalk from him.. hmm.

  • it was a move called walking against te wind or summink like tht,,,

  • it was called backslide

  • Nah, YOU are creepy and boring.

  • mj got the idea frot the moonwalk from him

  • You watched the howcast video too!!

  • haha yea, it seems like most ppl that watched the howcast video couldnt help but searchin him up

  • 10:25

  • me parecio algo asombroso

  • lol

  • hey! do you think michael jackson loved mime so much he got a perm mime mask? XD

  • My favourite part is 10:25 xD

  • MJ watched his moves and made them his own...RiP MJ and MM

  • isent it Ronald MC ? just in black outift xD

  • ooohhh 10:20 is even great!!

  • 8:20 is great!! haha

  • Mr. Jackson inspired on him for his dance

  • R.I.P. MJ nd MM

  • I didn't know MJ got the idea for the moonwalk from Marcel! Very cool!

  • not necessarily, he didn't invent it either.

  • I read that on yahoo recently lol.

  • That autograph gag at the end is fantastic.

  • without Marcel their's no moonwalk

  • without some shady guy in the 50's there's no moonwalk. get your facts straight.
