  • can you shirnk it more then once?

  • You should try styrofoam into aceton

  • Styrofoam shot glass

  • :-0 what did you do with the lady that caught you?

  • Next time, use a dryer and dry clean it.

  • *can

  • i an take more shots now hahahaha

  • I feel like a giant!!!! RAWR!!!!!

  • Thats my house

  • this video should be called, how to make a shot glass

  • the pressure compresses the cup.

  • Haha looks like a little shot glass

  • Wow, I just realized that the colored letters at the end spell "science".

  • hahah omg this was funny i like the part at 0:40 :) funny & educational nice :)

  • wheres the ladyt now

  • the water boiled the cup by the way can i have that

  • It turned into a cute little puppy.

  • Cool coffee shot glasses

  • i forgot to use a pressure cooker

  • Styrofoam shot glass!

  • The structure of the styrofoam collapses under the pressure which causes it to shrink.

  • Sorry, I meant why do you call it sick science.

  • @julia22202 sick is another name for really cool.

  • Why do call it sick science?

  • Sorry, I meant why do you call it sick science.

  • Does it blend?

  • It shrank

  • Did the viewer say you could eat ut of the refrigerator?

  • Did the viewer say it was ok?,,,,,

  • pressure acts from all sides of the Styrofoam and which causes it to shrink.

  • Lol

  • O.O WTH O.O

  • I am impressed.

  • can i do that to myself? i want to shrink :/

  • Can i eat it?

  • dont you still have your TV show anymore?

  • but will it eat!

  • @ChikoWhat The unlocked back door was so he could break in XD

  • Not sure, but i think coz styrofoam, as the name suggests, was actually foam before it was formed into a cup n stiffened, the little bit of water in the cooker is just not to burn the pot, also create steam, and as the pressure increases, the cup gets compressed evenly from all sides, expelling the all the air from the cup.

So the cut section of the cup should be a bit harder, thinner and dense. ^^

  • @StaIIHawker oh man...its so good to be a nerd like you.

  • @StaIIHawker I was being sarcastic...

  • Espresso cup? Nigga I be takin shots with dat shit!

  • ths is soo cutee!

  • The miniature objects are really cute!! More shrinking science, please? :)

  • Small chips bag, Small cup. Looks like the smurfs are coming...

  • He didn't add the 'Unlocked back door' in. =[

  • cute!

  • lol little chips with a little drink

  • somebody didn't have sex that evening

    angry wife is angry

  • how high

  • *shrinks

  • The heat shrings the cup... Its not so hard.

  • ur wifes hot

  • Random girl says "WHAT are you doing?!"

  • It does the same thing when we put them in a trap and send them under a few hundred feet of water.

  • Lol, You waited 18 sec, from 0:30 to 0:48

  • Comment removed

  • you had 2 different sized cups

  • @ikeikeforty To quote one of my favorite memes, can't tell if trolling or very stupid...

  • The funny part was when the random girl walked in XD haha

  • Yes!! Your talking again. Much better.

  • espresso? more like shot glass!

  • @jihanem i always thought coffee was kind of the spirit/liquer of the coffee rhelm XD

  • @blazednlovinit lmao never thought of it like that but i agree! :P

  • @jihanem lmao i just read what i put, word replace the first "coffee" for espresso. i'm sure you already knew that coffee was kind of like coffee.... -_-

  • @blazednlovinit hahah don't worry I got what you meant! :) great minds think alike lol! tbh i didn't even notice you said coffee twice :P

  • @jihanem shots shots shots shots

  • The pressure inside the pot compressed the styrofoam. It seems there is a lot of air inside styrofoam, sort of like white bread. Gee, since styrofoam normally floats, after it's compressed does it mean you CAN take this cup scuba diving?

That is one cute cup, btw.

  • Atlast the face is reaveled

  • @RDBXAHMED99 his face was reveled long time ago in youtube

  • You can get the same effect if you take styrofoam cups scuba diving. You get cute little versions of the original.

    Thanks for another great video.

  • @paulnord who the hell take styrofoam cups scuba diving!?!

  • @COWLOVER1996113 People who want to see them shrink.

  • I think espressos are a very strong coffee so u don't wanna drink a huge cup of it

  • I would guess the increased air pressure in the cooker compressed the air in the styrofoam. Leaving a cup for Smurfs.

  • home made shot glasses? thanks steve!

  • OMFG THATS SO CUUTTTEEEE!!!!

  • The mini cup is so cute!!

  • WHAT??!! lol

  • I don't get the joke at the end.....

  • Can you do this with multiple cups?

  • i think he just went into his "Fan's" house to do it...HE ROBBED A HOUSE

  • o nice you made it srink now make it grow twice its size.

  • How is the functionality of the mini Styrofoam cup?

  • I love shrinking crisp packets in the oven!

  • Lol

  • @101zack7 you can actually only press down when the loading circle comes up. I found that out 6 months ago.

  • Now all someone needs to do is make some styrofoam utensils and plates and then we'll have a full set. :D

  • OMIGOSH!!!! MINI-STYROFOAM CUP!!!!!!!

  • We are actually learning about this in science now! So im pretty sure that the pressure causes all the molecules to be pushed together even closer, leaving fewer spaces and condensing it more. So basically, more molecules are packed tighter now then in the original cup...or something like that!

  • @TheEverythingGirl122 Close but okay

  • this should be named how to turn a styrofoam cup into vodka cup

  • *sees mine cup*

    AWWWWW 030

  • @SimonsRandomChannel They might have hand-eye coordination issues & accidentally poke the straw through their hands instead of the potato. (O.O)

While everyone knows to be careful around hot water & metal containers under pressure?

    XD

  • Atoms get under pressure, atoms shrink!

  • why do you need an unlocked back door??? o.O

  • @2MuzicLuv3r2 To run away if it explodes or something like that. O.O

  • @2MuzicLuv3r2 i want to know too

  • @2MuzicLuv3r2 "we found a viewer that had a pressure cooker, a stove, and and an unlocked backdoor"

i think it's a joke about him breaking into a person's home? maybe?

  • @2MuzicLuv3r2 so that you can get inside there house

  • HELP!!! I'M GETTING BROKE BY DOING ALL THIS SICK SCIENCE STUFF! SEND ME MORE MONEY PLEASE!!!

  • i'd have appreciated a little explanation :(

  • HOLY FUUUUUU... You get it anyways!

  • aww cute mini cup :D and i agree we prefer seeing ur face and u speaking its much better!!!! :)

  • but will it blend?

  • @shade476 yes

  • Explanation: Steve went to Starbucks and got their new XL size when we weren't looking.

  • in the fridge* what?

    lol

  • oh man you've got gray hair now

  • now i need a pressure cooker. danm you

  • Haha this video was fun! Awesome!

  • why do you need an unlocked back door steve?

  • @laughalltheway1 just in case your house catches on fire

  • I prefer seeing Steve do the science not just random hands.

  • oops, 1700 times* my bad :)

  • The water turned into vapor, which makes it expand about 17 000 times, which in turn causes the pressure inside the cooker to rise. That's the reason why the cup shrunk; you can obtain the same effect by lowering it about 600 meters under water ;D

  • that blew my mind

  • viewer with a back door?

  • Hey, OMG, he's from Ellen!

  • "And an unlocked back door."

    mfw hearing that: D:

  • how does it work? PLEASE ANSWER!!

  • NEAT :D

  • IT'S SOOOOO CUTE!!! <3

  • 52nd

  • i think the pressure takes al the air away from the Styrafoam

  • OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • wowwwwwwwww

  • ISNT THAT COOL ?!?!?!

  • much better

  • Re-uploaded

  • "eats some thing in the refrigerator" what??? lol

  • good acting

  • Staring: Mr. and Mrs. Spangler.

  • @SuperToyotaLexus in correct that's his sister

  • @NinjaHao5528 Really? My bad. btw, it's "incorrect", not "in correct"

  • @SuperToyotaLexus yea sorry it was an accident

  • That's not a expresso cup.. That's a shots glass!

  • i think this is reuploaded..

  • Where's the usual sick science guy!

  • @Dionnnnz You're crazy, he's the real OG Sick Science guy, don't you forget it.

  • @ChikoWhat He's the real science guy but the one usually doing the Sick Science video doesn't seem like him.

  • Similar to the "marshmallow in a vacuum" with the air removed it shrinks down.... or the fact that they do make cups that size...

  • @OxBigly2010 When the air is removed the marshmallow expands, not shrinks.

  • @hubertandclyde when enough air is removed the marshmallow will release the air trapped inside and "deflate"

  • @OxBigly2010 So, so wrong...

  • why make things smaller ?? if you catch my drift...

  • the oxygen in the styrafoam is driven out by the steam and then is reduced in size by the pressure

  • Its a pressure cooker, it has alot of pressure inside.. hurp durp?

  • r u going back on ellen??

  • Comment removed

  • what did he do to the girl???

  • @emmsterexp In the cup.

  • Doesnt The Pressure Turn Into Sort Of Like A Vacuum With The Cold Water? Just A Guess, Freshman Science isnt The Greatest:D

  • @monthekillaklown Freshman English must not be either. Seeing as you capitalize every word even when you are not suppose to.

  • we found a glitch god

  • @TheBean930 Haha best comment

    xD

  • wow wtf

  • i dont know how that happened i failed science lol

  • LOL unlocked backdoor :D

  • I tried this but forgot to unlock the back door so it didn't work :(

  • Is it safe to use after this? :/

  • @XxusagibunnyxX Definitely.

  • @XxusagibunnyxX Why wouldn't it be?

  • lmfao cute little cup

  • I wished there was that jingle! It's so awkward

  • I wanna do that just cause i want a tiny cup XD

  • @puppyprincess12345 I want a Mr. Tiny Spoon.... :(
