Dandridge still carries around that human connection (pain and sadness) that makes him relative to us and helps to balance out his life as a vampire and what must be done in order to survive as a rare creature of the night. There's so many elements in Fright Night that makes it an uncontested classic to stand the test of time: romance, action, vampire killer, vampire ghoul, vampire slave, and the Boy who cried Wolf. This movie does a fantastic job of woven all these pieces in.

Not big in the whole remake so soon thing, but every now and then.. If done right Fright Night Redux will only enhance the original. This is top vampire, keeps true to lore. Lost Boys a very close second.

Oh I agree with U on FRIGHT NIGHT. Its my favorite movie of all time. just picked up the complete original soundtrack with 28 tracks. I know Dracula did walk during the day but he is the original fiction vampire of all vampires. if they can keep to the music and script, then yes its possible. The music kept the theme rolling throughout the film. i read that vampires will be more jaws and teeth, and extremely brutal, no cult-gothic love romantic crap, but what a vampire really is. I have faith.

Well it seems that a long awaited remake or 3rd movie in the FRIGHT NIGHT series is currently in the works due in 2011. Also Colin Farrell is playing the seductive Jerry Dandridge. For us true FRIGHT NIGHT fans we know the music played a huge roll throughout the film as in the second FRIGHT NIGHT. The Director has mentioned that the vampires will be like the original but extremely more brutal, no day walking, half-blood nor twilight crap will be in this film. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE PREVIEW
