I think Michigan would have loved to play Nebraska and vis versa, that year. Michigan got the node to go to the actual title game over Nebraska, because the only team each of them played was Colorado. Michigan dominated Colorado by a score of 27-3 and Nebraska beat Colorado 27-24. Both good teams, but the fact remains, both schools have had good teams in recent memory and not during Truman's tenure.
