  • Like I flow like a buffalo and my pee doesn't taste good at all when I'm bleeding out my cunt.

  • With that eyeliner and lipstick, that baby belongs on toddlers and tiaras.

  • ...... I'm in schock a bit. disney proves yet again to provide such insight into women...

  • Seriously, what happened to Little Mermaid ? :S

  • what if i don't WANT to live with people!?!?! -___-

  • did i really just watch this?

  • wow this is seriously for real....

  • im sure disney enjoyed making this video.

  • holy hell.... I thought this was a joke

  • I have a DEAD serious essay due and have a test in the morning yet i was on did-you-kno tumblr and now youtube.... I'm so bad x3

  • I brought myself here

  • Uberfacts brought me here .

  • why the fuck am I watching this, I have shit to do

  • UberFacts on twitter brought me here

  • I am old enough to have seen it. It is very polite isn't it? This subject was handled in a delicate way. I Also got the book too. In grade school, the boys saw the film separately from the girls then they put all of us together in the lunch room so we could all watch it together. Then they had a question and answer period afterwards. One boy asked what did they use to catch the flow of blood? The teacher said that was a good question. Oh,boy, the memories of my childhood!

  • uberfacts on twitter brought me here

  • What the fuck?

  • This is terrifying

  • This should be in the new Kingdom Hearts game.

  • Such beautiful animation, but in today's world this video is so sexist xD

  • Does anyone know where I can get this on video or dvd or even in book.. I told my mother about it and she remembers when it first came out and would like to have a copy of it.

  • @SouthernGirl328 get youtube downloader, and simply burn a dvd with the video

  • I thought my headphones were broken until watched a different vid. :(

  • It's so vague

  • I'm in the weird part of Youtube again.

  • uber facts on twitter brought me here

  • I like how she says ""slight"" instead of ""thin.""

  • I hate this video, but did anyone else see the blocks spell IDGAF? 8:49

  • I liked the part about how to handle PMS. That was excellent advice. They should probably have explained WHY an egg is deemed fertilized, or every 11 year old is going to ask which egg is going to become a baby.

  • DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT SLOUCH.

  • the body starts "matouring"

  • This was so much more informing that anything I was ever taught by my mom, books, or those videos at school.

  • @lschwagnigga Like my grandpap says - "That's because your mother didn't know what the fuck she was doing. Literally"

  • the baby is quite scary..

  • i understand this explanation more then what anyone said

  • Twitter brought me here!!!

  • @muffinsrock54 me too!....#wtffacts

  • Lol way better than the video I saw!

  • Actually not a bad video. Just weird that Disney produced it.

  • 9gag brought me here!

  • That's not menstruation, that's cum.

  • i love you tumblr

  • 17 and I still laughed when she said "vagina"... yup

  • Still, it's one of the most shitty times in a normal life >.> But nothing to do about it, :/

  • Hello, I'm from tumblr.

  • y is the blood white .___.

  • Tumblr XD

  • no matter how you feel, you have to live with people xD

  • is it bad that i actually learned something from this...?

  • @persnikity12345 i did too so its ok :P

  • @persnikity12345 I did too! About constipation.

  • Well, this would have been useful in school.

  • Finally I learned something useful from Disney.

  • Hmm...dispite being old this was a very nice and informitive video. I think they did a good job explaining everything. ^^

  • This would have helped me so much when I was younger.

I hope you guys will see how complex this is instead of "DURR HURR UR ON UR PERIOD, THAT SUX".

  • Tumblr brought me here. XD

  • @mozarttheprincess haha me too!

  • @mozarttheprincess Sameee XD

  • @mozarttheprincess Oh my god... me too xD

  • my left ear is lonely...

  • doesnt the girl look like snow white at one point :)

  • how the fuck did i get here?

  • I can't believe I actually watched this all the way through...

  • @quasimojo8 at least now you understand how your girlfriend works

  • Who sat upo straight when they talked about slouching?

  • 9GAG brought me here ;)

  • thumbs up if you got here from 9gag!

  • Somewhat velvety? how does she know?

  • why does my vagina hurt when i watch videos on menstration lol? i already got my period nd it doesnt hurt but still haha

  • OMG

  • I wonder how the Disney princesses are under their menstruation??? poor the seven little dworfs, poor prince Filip, poor prince Eric...

  • HAHA, There comes a time each Disney Princess must become a Disney Queen. :D

  • I gotta tell you, a lot better than what some schools teach now about this. Plus the fact that parents don't talk much to their kids.

  • /watch?v=P48d_8yufzY&feature=related

  • 6:47- 7:14 in other words... Don't be a female dog...

  • @GhostxNappa9001 Sorry but I see it differently... truth be told no one wants to sit around crying all day, and no one wants to deal with a bitter person. It's basically saying "yeah, you'll get moody, but it's best to learn how to deal with it instead of regretting your decisions later."

  • i'm never clicking on a link from one of my mates ever again. hearing the word "vagina" in a disney narrative voice has just fully destroyed my inner child

  • @TextingFairy

Yeah, but they do do innuendoes(and I just mean humor that adults get and kids can still laugh at) But this was mainly to help young girls, and this is truthfully something I wish I saw when I first started my period instead of the American Girl Doll Body book thingie.

  • Did a Disney movie just say Vagina!!!!!?!?!?! O.o

  • Now why didn't they show this to us when I was in the 5th grade?

  • @blackroseheartgirl that's exactly what I was thinking..

  • I love the irony of how she's marking her day planner with a red pencil.

  • o.o Why is that baby wearing mascara and lipstick!?

  • @AlexReynard because it's a girl, duh!111

  • @AlexReynard The same reason why the woman in the shower doesn't have discernible nipples - it's a Disney movie.

  • Okay, I came into this ready to make fun of it and have a grand ol' laugh....shocker of shockers, this was....good! I mean, what a simple, clear and mature explanation. Way to go Disney

  • OH.... MY... GOD!!!

  • Were the girls animated by Fred Moore? Also, I'm kind of surprised that this was not featured on any of the "Walt Disney Treasures" DVD Sets (admittedly though, the only one in the series that this would suitable on would be the "Disney Rarities" set). But after watching some of the cartoons on "Disney on The Front Lines" (Such as "Edu-cation For Death" and some of the hygiene cartoons that mention latrines, this isn't that shocking, IMHO.

  • is it just me, or does the outline of the uterus and the fallopian tubes look like a bull with horns?

  • aw man, once they mentioned that slouching part, i automatically sat up straight in my chair lol hahaha XD Disney IS magical :D

  • wow, i didn't think Disney would make a clip about this... but it did help me out a bit... even though I've been having my days for about one or two years already

  • i thought disney was supposed to be kids you know? i didn't know they would go into this stuff

  • @jeydonlover12walien Well, menstruation is necessary for ovulation, is it not?

Without the "egg"/ovum, what is the sperm going to fertilize?

  • Surprisingly good video!

  • I should have watched this before I started mine.

My mom didn't tell me shit!

  • When she says "vagina" she seems to be so awkward...

  • "You have to live with people. You have to live with yourself too"

I think I am showing this to my girlfriend.

  • The boy she is dancing with near the end looks like G.W. Bush.

  • For some reason I think they still showed this in the seventies. It looks so familiar.

  • Is this real life?

  • there was a taboo over bathing while on your period? eew,

  • @iLovetheStrange Older people have told me it was normal to take a bath once a week during the 40's. Don't know if that is true or not.

  • @gryphon50c It depends on the kind of hair you have too and how oily your scalp tends to be naturally, I think. My hair definitely goes absolutely haywire if I wash it more than once a week.

No problem with showering more than once a week with a showercap, though!

  • @iLovetheStrange Yep! And not just in Western culture... I KNOW it was around in ancient Arabia too. Some people, certain Jewish traditions too, believed women on their menses were cursed with a touch of death that will spoil butter and ruin almost anything they touch.

It followed that they would be kept somewhere far from everyone else and often not be allowed to bathe either, until the period ended. Weird, huh?

  • @iLovetheStrange Yes, there was a taboo over bathing while on your period. Many of my relatives from Russia still believe that if you wash your hair while menstruating, you'll have "problems when you are older" without specifying what those problems would be.

  • That baby scares me...

  • this video is lies. my wife NEVER wants to ride a horse while cramping.

  • this is happening to me right now. i'm choking down chewy chocolate chips and watching is ridiculous video. where is the mention of snapping at others and fatigue!?!

  • Only Disney can make that time of the month not sound so bad.

  • why dont we still have this? i would have preffered this over some embarassed and flustered teacher talking about her scary experiences.

  • @skaviri We didnt even have anything apart from "this is how you put a condom on"

  • Hermoso ^^

  • This is sooo creepy...

  • YEAH DISNEY!!

  • its suppos to be red... xD

  • I didn't know Disney had Vagina's

  • @jeydonlover12walien Women need to know about their menstrual cycle if they want to plan their pregnancies. That's sex ed.

  • I'm officially creeped out...

  • But how DO you make babies?? D:

  • YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH PEOPLE

    AND YOURSELF TOO

  • So... at 17 I'm watching a educational video about my periods. I feel slightly disturbed.

  • So at 17 I'm being told about my periods XD

  • "As soon as you stop feeling sorry for yourself"

    I FROWNED SO HARD D:

  • err hi. this is like.. so uh awkward.

  • damn that's an ugly baby

  • 13 is average? Good grief, I know girls who got the curse at ages 8 and 9.

  • @turtlewings - I know what you mean, and it's actually linked to how healthy a girl is - in the 1600's it was actually common for a girl not to get her monthly until she was 14, 15, 16 (as their diets/exercises were substantially different from what we have today) - which was ideal in terms of arranged marriages, and the eventual birth of children.

  • @sailorstarfairy1

Not necessarily. Late onset menstruation can be due to being unhealthy - my neighbour was in their 20s and hadn't menstruated for years due to anorexia. Some have postulated that increased fat in diets was the cause for early menstruation (oestrogen). Age of menstruation had little effect on arranged marriages in societies where such a practice was prevalent though, with the famous example of Muhammad marrying a 6 year old girl (though consummating at her menarche, age 9).

  • @turtlewings Actually, the average among HEALTHY girls is proven to be 13. Only young girls stuffed with hormone-invested meats get their periods at such an unnatural age as 8. The hormones in chicken and cow meat are responsible for the physical maturity of girls becoming evident much earlier for ex. in the 80's. Obesity wasn't popular and girls got breasts and periods even as late as the age of 18. Girls are getting their periods at 8 is tragic news,a sign of how unhealthy the US has become.

  • @turtlewings I know.. i'm one... stupid CURSE D:

  • @turtlewings There's a difference between single case & average. Think about how many women & girls there are on the planet right now & how many there were back then. Even if you look only at the USA the number is still humongous. Never assume that a single case example is applicable for everyone.

  • Ma-touring?

  • 5:59

just as I suspected, Disney chicks aren't anatomically correct.

  • twenty eight days???

    what the hell??!

WHAT ARE THEY FEEDING US NOWADAYS????! ! !

  • I feel kinda..weird now o.O

  • I feel bad for the the irregular girls in the 40s.. no birth control for another 20 years.

  • ... I'm having my biology exam on Tuesday and this actually helped me. Thank you once again Disney! :D

  • now this is informative and not boring. hahaha this is nice.
