  • I love how black and white people think that the black oppression is the only slavery that ever happened. And they act like white and Mexicans were never slaves. White people were slaves MUCH before black people. Greeks and Romans would enslave people all the time. America is what fucked up slavery. They turned slavery into something in which you rape your slaves and beat them to death. Slavery in other countries is like "Work it off for me and your done w.e". Blame America not white/blacks.

  • My high school had around 90% blacks, 7% whites and 3% hispanic and asians. Ironically enough, I had more trouble from one of the other white students than I did any black student in the entire school. (I'm white, in case it wasn't obvious.)

  • I fucking love foamy!

  • I grew up in a mostly black community, where I was "picked on" due to being white. Picked on meaning I was beat up; going home with bruises every day, getting milk thrown on me, even getting permanent teeth knocked out. Why? Because it was drilled into the minds of my peers by TEACHERS that the black kids were superior. I'm by no means raciest, but I will never forget being treated like trash because of what the 'teachers' made them think. It's just terrible how our society is, because of morons

  • I don't like the whole scholarship based on ethnicity thing. It should be based to academic achievement and financial standing. My friend and I have nearly the same grades and family income. But she's going to get way more scholarship, and maybe even go to school for free, simply because she's asian. I love her, and she deserves scholarships, but because she's brilliant, not because she's asian.

  • poor white kid tossed on the streets in Annapolis with a high IQ he dead. That was seriously how it was when i lived in Annapolis.

  • isn't everyone technically related to everyone anyway? ain't we all halfbreeds

  • i dont like black people or arabs, any1 else i dont mind ohhh and mixed race fuckin half breeds

  • @terrencemccann Lol nice to know you don't like half breeds, to bad they are everywhere, so go live in solitude with your solid colors

  • @QueenKatz451 wish i could

  • I never understood " equal opportunity." Basically what theyre saying is my color is a handicap. I can get a scholarship, with my smarts alone, but for whatever reason, people would rather give me a free education because Im black. Hey, Im not gonna pass up free school, because if theyre gonna be dumb enough to give me the money, im gonna be smart enough to take it. But....um yeah....*thinks of something black to say* Free (insert rapper here)!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They have a pill popping squirrel a british and a black one why not a Mexican one?

  • @johnnyzombie100

    no squirrels in Mexico

  • French ftw :3 lol

  • what is he say'n at 01:23 ?

  • i am everything you can find in Europe, Mexican, African, Native American (Seminole), and Russian and people call me raciest for pointing out double standards all the time. i fucking hate it. i try to make them less stupid and i get bitched at for it. many of them try to say things like "You ain't black you don't look like a brother" or "Mexican my ass you White bitch" i hate these people. But they do meet my "Black side" when i cuss them out like a ghetto bitch. Moral of the story= Racists suck

  • Now yo' brain be all "fwoosh!"

  • Gotta love the Hatta and his very "slight" racial slurs.

  • Fuck all the race talk; Hatta rocks!

  • i love my black girlfriend :)

    -sincerely a white guy

  • i don't think he took pity on her i think he was hoping for something.

  • I love the foamy toons, but they do have a few issues:

1.) It seems like hatta is just a device for addressing the writer's frustration with black people. The writer seems to be very racially minded, and likes to try and refute what he believes that black people believe.

2.) This cartoon addresses affirmative action and equal opportunity efforts with NO context at all. There're SO many rebuttals to the points made here, that some of them should be OBVIOUS. But still love foamy! :-)

  • @VioletDrow i wander how many thumbs downs you already have... probably a lot.

  • @010sasori None so far.. maybe because I'm a fan like everyone else, but what I'm saying is absolutely true.

  • @VioletDrow two things wrong with what you just said. #1, you wouldn't be able to see how many thumbs downs you have. #2 it's not true, it's an oppinion.

  • @010sasori #1, not the exact number no, but if my comment is hidden it gives me an idea and #2 It IS my opinion. But one's opinion and the truth CAN be the same thing.

It sounds like you really didn't appreciate my post, but if you can think of any reason for me to think differently then I'm all ears.

  • @VioletDrow if you knew anything about john you could pass that judgement. there.

  • @010sasori I form my opinion based on the ideas that he has chosen to express, and the way that he presents them. For example, Hatta usually only appears onscreen when addressing a race issue. This is a notable contrast to the other characters who, even though they rant, their topics are broad and varied.

  • whaaaaaaat!!???

  • how dose she continue to wright that paper while caring on a conversation withhatta

  • for a moment hatta had my respect

  • If you press 5, 2, 3, in that order just right you will hear,

"As a homeless, African American, white suit and tie guy"

  • Lol. Right when Germaine said she was writing a paper for college, a message came up about ITT tech. :D

  • 30 PAGES!!!!??? WTF?! quality over quantity for fuck's sake

  • lol now your brian be all wesh

  • What I think is personally hilarious is that everyone is getting so worked up about a cartoon. I mean sure, Foamy is a specifically adult cartoon, aimed at those with enough intelligence (or lack there of) to find it utterly entertaining and it clearly sends deep, political messages out to the viewers. But it's still JUST a cartoon. About some squirrels and a chubby, goth chick.

Let's not get THAT worked up. Philosophical, sure, but there's no need to fight over intelligent cartoon animals. :)

  • aww someone beat me to the white kid line

  • how is a squirrel black? i thought they were all one thing

  • @G33KN3rd true dat, true dat

This whole discussion was started by some troll claiming that JIM (creator of Foamy) was racist because Da Hatta is (so the troll says) a black stereotype.

  • @G33KN3rd

Every animal has specific markings, coloring, shapes, and hair length. All of those things are looked at by other animals of that species to determine not only what sex the animal is, but how good the animal is for breeding. The only difference is, in the animal kingdom, those not suitable for replicating the species get left behind, and eventually fade out entirely, while the strong, intelligent ones carry on and have children.

This isn't the case for us. Humanity = Doing it wrong.

  • @SorrowfulLesson how is humanity doing it wrong? because some people with bad genetics are breeding? nobody really cares about that, there's 7 billion humans, we're not going extinct for a looong time.

  • @G33KN3rd

Well not in terms of being extinct... But eventually, with the way things are going these days, all of the world's intelligence will be lost forever and all that will be left are vapid reminders of what the human race could have become.

  • @SorrowfulLesson that's because we've put intelligence on a lower level than physicality, for example athletes make more money than a surgeon, even if the surgeon created a cure for AIDS and cancer in one time, athletes will still make more money. than that one surgeon.

  • @G33KN3rd I didnt Know Surgeons Made Cures

  • @G33KN3rd theres black red and grey squirrels depending on region

  • and @ Dipstikk I'm not rascist either, but...

isn't a typical stereotype of African-Americans that they're all on welfare, or some form of govenment aid? Didn't Da Hatta just go against that by turning down a minority scholarship?

  • "OH YOU BLACK, YOU NEED HELP CUZ YOU BLACK!" LMAO

  • What up with the books bitches?

    Stop calling girls bitches!

Ok, what up wit the books ho?

    Lmfao

  • ever notice when you watch these and the dislikes are about the same in ever show. I bet their the same people who hate the other ones, so why would they even watch these vids if they hate them?

  • 35 users are poor white kids with no street smarts

  • (╯°□°)╯

  • I know more racist black people then white people. I lived in a mostly black community. The majority of the black people there were in fact racist. There was exactly 7 white kids in the whole school. No asians. And a few hispanics. Nobody liked me because I was white. Double standard much?

  • @iyamarilovegaara Its because of the history & now that things have tried to change there is still an inner hatred & grudge against you white people. Some elderly African Americans or mothers still see the way they have grown up & some are too stubborn to see that things are trying to make some development. Same thing with elderly whites, their generations may be raised the same, there is no double standard, its back & forth.

I say more mixed kids so everyone can shut the fuck up

  • @QueenKatz451 Spanish, Asian, black american FTW!!! Thats what I am anyways haha

  • @iyamarilovegaara us black people have a stereotype. We believe that if there is one white kid in an all black place the white kid is racist

  • @iyamarilovegaara well dude if you lived in an area that was mostly black and there were alot of racist around of course you're going to know more black racist than white racist. and like all racism its more of a what parents teach sort of thing. though to be honest, (and i know this suggestion is not realistic or wise in the slightest) but if blacks had the chance to fuck with whites and hold the majority of the power for 350 years i think the african american people would call it square.

  • @allshallbelosttoyou

Living in the past, seeking revenge for slavery and wrongs committed against black people will accomplish nothing. The only living they'll do is dead peoples' lives, and they're done with theirs.

  • @Jerkwad152 i said it wasn't practical

  • No surprise really. Your white skin is a constant reminder of oppression. Now, im not racist, but i always assume every white person i come across is racist. Not fair to have a biased view of someone before knowing them, i know. But hey, what are ya gonna do? The shit happened. It's something the black community has neither forgotten nor should it ever forget.

  • @remmy100 Also shouldn't act like ya do. It was years ago, don't forget but get the fuck over it, whites enslaved, then whites released. I'm sorry but it was how many years ago!

  • @aregolas I am "the fuck" over it. Hell, my last two ex's were white; even my best friend. But it's not my fault that I grew up being called nigger and whatnot; a child hated just because of his ethnicity. It's only natural that I'd develop animosity toward white people. Nowadays that animosity has ebbed into a merely biased perspective.

  • @remmy100 wait wait wait. you're not racist, but you assume the entirety of a specific race acts a certain way?

  • @huMusicMonster Thats correct. Like I said; im not racist, just biased. Though you would never know it unless I pointedly told you. I treat everyone with respect, but If your white; in the back of my mind I'm thinking you already hate me.

  • PAPER COMMENT

  • turn on beta captions and flow in with lol's xD

  • You know, if Hatta acted less ghetto fab people would STILL complain about it because Hatta then would be "acting white". In other words it's a lose-lose, damned if you do/damned if you don't situation.

  • @eberwolf2k well hatta WAS created for the purpose of illustrating that point.

  • i watch this. one the side an add for a black college....

  • ....and sorry for the bad spelling, I was rushing that last post.

  • I hate to get into this but I love how Dipstikk had to say "lily-white cast" when referring to Fomay's cast of characters. He or she had to say something racial then have the nerve to complain about racism agianst his or her own people.

I think blacks need to re-evaluate themselves and see what is more important a old and irrelevent grudge or moving up in the world. No one is holdiong you back anymore except yourselves.

  • @eberwolf2k my sisters black and in all honesty i agree most people just dont know when to let shit go yes slavery happened not to you but to your family so fucking what let it go and get on with life

  • I hope Foamy eliminates all whiney bitches who comment bs on his videos and don't just stfu and enjoy it!

  • Now I know im dead i have no street smarts :/

  • Dipstikk...perfect name for you.

  • @EffieReal Yeah, I get that a lot.

From people who have no real counterargument. :3

  • what what where am i i dont know where i am cuse im WHITE

  • REPLIES EVERYWHERE

  • @MrRadaikon Why is it that the first comment I actually agree with is on page goddamn 2?

  • @Z34teen Wish Mathers would try to introduce a minority character who isn't an obnoxious, near-blackface stereotype. Don't blame the fictional character, blame the guy who created him.

  • Come on, Mathers, really? Now that you've fleshed Germaine out as an assertive feminist, seeing you flaunt this stereotype is a step in the wrong direction. You understand feminism on some level, but when you deal with race, why do you need to be so... white about it?

Your only real minority character is a stereotype. The rest of your lily-white cast is as diverse as you can make them. I see this as an indication that you don't know many people with brown skin.

    Define this character a little.

  • @Dipstikk Holy shit. Dipstikk, you SUCK ASS. It may be a stereotype, but IT'S FUCKING TRUE. Accept it.

BTW, foamy makes fun of EVERYONE. Not just minorities.

  • @ShadowACS

Stereotypes are never true. Some people may exhibit behaviors that have been used as stereotypes, but for a stereotype to be "true," it would have to be true for everyone.

And I'm well aware of the fact that the titular rodent mocks everything that breathes. That has nothing to do with my comment.

And oh no, I "suck ass." Whatever shall I do? I'm branded for life. Woe is me, Etc, etc.

  • @Dipstikk lol you're full of shit. most stereotypes are true and you fucking know it. And no, it doesn't have to be true for EVERYONE to be considered true. You're the exact kind of politically correct asshole that this guy is trying to eliminate.

  • @ShadowACS Most stereotypes are based on the public's perception of the people they're about, typically fabricated or exaggerated, but never 100% true. The stereotypes used in minstrel shows of the early 1900's were not based on truth, but rather what the white populous thought black people must act like.

Stereotypes for people of color were created/exaggerated by whites, stereotypes for gays were created/exaggerated by straights. All were used to keep those groups "in line."

  • @ShadowACS Oh, no, you're calling me PC. Why I'd better just shrivel up and fall in line right now, go along with the group think. Hey, asshole, just because you call someone PC doesn't make them wrong. In fact, many people use the phrase "political correctness" when they're trying to spread misinformation or bigotry, which is by definition, false.

Political correctness is often mistaken for plain old correctness.

Now go on a rant about "liberal mind police" and how "dey took our jawwwbs!"

  • @Dipstikk LOL. I'm done feeding this troll.

  • @ShadowACS Of course. If you don't like what the person is saying, they must be a troll.

  • @Dipstikk Dey dook our dobs!!!

  • @Dipstikk Da Hatta is rather ambiguous as a stereotype, IMO. He reinforces some stereotypes, and goes against others. See Hatta's Rant for more. And as for political correctness... it's an impossible to enforce double standard. Political correctness is changing the name of something to please everyone, which is impossible. Have you ever noticed how many terms for African Americans, Asian Americans, etc.? Have you ever noticed how many there are for whites?

    Finally, to paraphrase George Carlin,

  • @Dipstikk "You treat race like a condition, and that somehow if you change the name, somehow you change the condition. Well, hey cousin! PBBBBT! doesnt happen!" -_-

  • @Dipstikk You forget the other minority characters.

    Like the British Bagely.

    And the pill popping Pilz-E.

They're stereotypes as well. And I think his point with Germaine is more a satire on hypocrisy, those people that act high and mighty and do exactly the things they shouldn't. As far as the Hatter, I'm not racist, but I've ran into more black people that are racist against whites and speak exactly like that than not. ((However, I also have many black friends that don't act like that.))

  • @SweetNightmareHikari I wasn't aware british people were an ethnic minority.

  • @Dipstikk Ethnic, no. But how many British people do you meet in the states? And he's just as bad of a stereotype as the Hatter. And the Brits can get just as offended as an African American can. And all three are minor characters in the storyline. Begley to the point of not even appearing more than once every several episodes. I notice you didn't argue with any of my other points and are thus grasping at straws to defend your original point, which was not very well thought out.

  • @SweetNightmareHikari I don't think Begley is just as bad as the Hatter. Begley has been portrayed as kind of a less hyperactive version of Foamy, who happens to speak with a british accent and use british colloquialisms. There really aren't any stereotypes in his depiction. Pillz-E might be a contender for an "Ableist" depiction of addicts, which is why I tackled Begley.

  • @SweetNightmareHikari Another reason that Begley's depiction isn't as offensive is because there's no history of systemic oppression of pierced british punks on any meaningful scale. When you create a character like Hatta, who is simply a conglomeration of hald-picked black stereotypes, you help to perpetuate a cycle of how people perceive black people, and that perception hurts them socially more than it would hurt a british guy with a cockney accent.

  • @SweetNightmareHikari "I'm not racist, but"

Bad way to start a conversation on race. Don't waste time by casting allusions on your biases, just state your case.

The point isn't whether there are people act like that or not. There are people who do stereotypes. There are people who don't. The point is that Hatta is depicted mainly as a combination of the various perceptions Mathers has of black people, rather than being a character on his own.

  • LOl

  • dam the hatta sure has a point about african americans and scholarships

  • @deidaramaru0001 it is obvious :D Latino americans scholarships too

  • @OMWOS thxs 4 tallin meh

  • Oh my god everytime i listen to hatta i dont know whether to praise him for his intelligence or reach through the screen and smack him.

  • Dat fucked up! gettin money fo bein a ho.. Love It xD

  • BAGELS, they're filled with cheese!!! Whee…Seriously, maybe my entire world view of stereotypes is wrong and I've been livid in a delusional fantasy-land for decades… THANK YOU CRAZY TALKING SQUIRREL!

  • ''wat you up 2 with the book there bitches'' LOL

  • i dont know where i am cause im white lol

  • @BabyyySuziaj86 what up with the funky writeing yo

  • @dodgechargercrazy It's a pedophile pretending to be a teenage girl. They always think that typing is cool, it's going to be hell when they discover Zalgo.

  • THE HATTA THANK YOU

  • Someone want to explain to me what Hatta symbolizes so I can stop this desire to choke him with his tail?

  • @ViraIshnia

    Stereotypical black guy.

  • @ViraIshnia Mather's inexperience in meeting or befriending anyone who isn't white.

  • "How about I is real as it gets and all you clowns be the stereotype. See I twist that shit around and make you think in circles like some kind of mental Esher shit!" Greatest line a cartoon character has ever said. PERIOD! (Esher is referring to M.C. Esher known for his mind bending art).

  • @Houstain Escher fuckin rocks!

  • That squirrel actually made a pretty good point about the street smarts thing.

  • The transcribe at 1:29 "lol" XD

  • I Just noticed how many pierings she has ._.

  • They should make a Foamy movie. I'd watch that shit forever.

  • That's fucked up getting free money for being a hoe.

  • I love the new Germaine. She's developed really well during the Travel Log episodes and is taking a stand. :)

  • I still love Germane's new look.

  • @OriginalGagBonkerss Yes; finally back to her original hair color :)

  • He sounds a lot like Pillz-E.

    Only less charming.

Speaking of whom, I think that it's high time that we see more of the little pill-popper.

He hasn't shown up in awhile.

  • @SinnFein4ever tru that, tru that!

  • now yo brain be all whoosh!

  • I respect the Hatta. Black is not a disease! So many damn people treating it like it is. >_>

  • @kirby28645 it just depends on how african americans wear their heritage. In LA . . . african americans go with the stereotype and that make people think being black is a disease. There are so few that go against stereotypes and a majority of them are my friends

  • @kirby28645 so fukkin tru!

  • The hatta pretty much just described my entire problem with 'equal opportunity' scholarships.

  • "Poor white kid with a high IQ get tossed on the streets; he dead!" lmao

  • "What you up with the books Bitches?"

    "Stop calling women bitches"

"Okay... What up with the books hoe?"

    Lmfao

  • We haven't seen a Pilz-e centric episode in a while.... OMG did he overdose?!

  • @seekerofthestorm no no go to the video of the dog to see my comment about why that is totally impossible

the info is officially approved by both: Chuck Norris, Batman (yes THE batman dude) i asked the joker what he thought but he just laughed and tried to fry me with the hand thing, crazy bastard but i like his pets

  • Thats cuck up getting free education for being a hoe! XD

  • This may be my favorite to date....rofl, love it

  • @TheJinglier he has an afro, theres a video with him hatless. damn cant remember what its called, but it does exist, lolz. google it maybe? illwillpressDOTcom the official site prolly has that video as well.

  • please make more videos with this guy!! love him!! he's funny

  • IS Good

  • Racist

  • huh that's wise...in a sense

    i like that

  • You art has become more and more developed, not to mention your animation style, it's gotten so fluid over the years (heh heh heh. Fluid). Growth in art is great to watch..

  • I'm glad to see Germaine geting her life together

  • i have been foamy since he was created lol

  • I think college admissions and financial aid distribution should follow a colorblind policy. That would be TRUE equal opportunity.

  • i hate this new nigger squirrel.

  • @moondancer1122 He's been in this series for years. And I'm not even going to address the word used to describe said squirrel...

  • @moondancer1122 hes not new racist lol

  • @moondancer1122 rofl, The Hatta has been around forever! You must be new and apparently not understanding of all the knowledge he just dropped. He's not willing to take money just because he's black? Like he needs a handout (anti-affirmative action shit).....pay attention. The Hatta is kinda anti-nigger. Watch it again and open your ears. It went straight over your head like fwoosh.

  • You need help cause you black, like it's a debilitating disease or something. I swear I am going to say that in social crit

  • is it just me or is Germaine really a sexualy flower that wa splucked to soon and now shes rideing the waves of life ?

  • I love what Germaine says at 1:22

  • @Decibelz15 It's a cartoon. That is all.

  • Pretty sure the Hatta is one of my favorite characters now.. I see Germaine going down a path of lesbianism in the future.

  • @pervertedpractices17 Nah, think about it: J.I.M made her fat to make her LESS attractive to guys watching these cartoons. Making her a lesbian would counteract that severly. ^^

  • @darkbatMori That's true... Would make for an interesting plotline development though. n_n

  • @Decibelz15

Actually, that's the point. People kept writing to the creator that they wanted to see Germaine naked. He got fed up with this, so he made her fat to detract that specific crowd. Unfortunately, it didn't stop. She's not supposed to be hot, she's supposed to be overweight. It's a little overdone in my opinion, but it's his show, not mine.

  • @keilxkey2255 I agree completely. Her size would be fine if she wasn't wearing the same clothes she wore when she was thin. ;O

  • Comment removed

  • @keilxkey2255 Sorry,wrong person

  • 30 page research paper on how sexuality was a source of empowerment for women...for some reason I can see Germaine pursuing a phD in women's studies, or history/sociology with an emphasis on women's development.

  • @SamuraiGirl02 That just screams "academic job only" or "may I have fries with that!"

  • @chaoticpix93 Not necessarily. True, most with those types of degrees mostly get jobs in academia as professors, but they also write research books. And who knows; maybe she could also work at a museum as a curator. There is one that focuses on women's history in New York.

Besides, the point of the comment was to show the passion she has for her research and paper.

  • @SamuraiGirl02 Basically, a PhD in bullshit.

  • @AshillaBeige Genau ^^ Exaktlie ^^

  • @SamuraiGirl02 A degree in women telling women about how women got to the position of being able to tell women about telling women about the next couple of steps that happened between the first women telling women about the women who made it possible for the latter women to do so? I can think of several things more entertaining than Germain getting a degree in that.

  • "I dunno where I am cause I'm white"
