does anyone know some less expensive cases that will fit it? ive seen some people saying ipad cases will fit it because they have similar specs. id love one thats a stand as well and i want it protected but im emphasize inexpensive lol
@Prence Are you gonna get the Le Pan 2? I was thinking about buying it. I know its sold out on Amazon right now, but they sell them at Newegg.com, bestbuy.com and a couple of more sites for the same price;280. It has android 3.2 on it and it will upgrade to 4.0 :)
@iAmHeart2urSoul I'm thinking about it, but not sure though. I mean if this one is not working right, hows the 2nd one going to run. Apparently Le Pan doesn't care if its working, why should I waste money buying another of their bad products. If they fix this one then maybe, if not then they can keep the new one.
Hey BOSSYtexasCHICK , I have a Le Pan TC970 that I bought back in November, I have been getting freezes and lock ups all the time, do you get any lock ups with your tablet? I have rooted my tablet because of this video and thought that it might have fixed the problem, but it didn't. As it is, I'm not enjoying this tablet because of the constant freezes. I know I am very familiar with the reset button right now. Anyway, do you know any way to upgrade the OS to something that might fix my tablet.
@Prence Hey BOSSYtexasCHICK, I updated the firmware last night to the newest release version. Think it might have fixed the freezes and lock ups, so I think I'm good on that. But I was still wanting to upgrade the OS to something that's a bit newer, so if you know anything about where I might get a newer OS (prefer ICS if it's possible) I would appreciate it. I sent my LePan back last week, am thinking of getting the LePan II. This is the nicest tablet, and altho i'm not a "honeycomb fan", i think they might have made it more enjoyable with their overlay....
@BOSSYtexasCHICK I was mistaken, today it froze on me 3 times. The update didn't fix the problem after all. So I think I'm going to follow you and return it and see if the le pan 2 is worth it. No idea why it's freezing like it does, I know it's not a rooting issue because my optimus v phone is rooted and works just fine with 2.2. I just might wait till I see what problems the le pan 2 has and if it suffers the same problems, I will just get a refund. Not worth it.
Awesome! I ordered one as an x-mas gift for my mom from newegg and should be here on Monday. I'm planning on rooting it and changing the layout a bit and am now going to use this a a guide to make things a bitter "prettier" for her :o)
Please make an update video of your complete overhaul when you get it done, I'd like to see what you've been able to do with it.
