but that is not the technique of a bongo player...

try to learn some moves with the bongo and then show them...

this solo can be played with a timbaleta or snare drums or congas, because it will sound great anyway...

i really don't get why the traditional way to hold bongos is left to right? If you hold them front to back each hand can easily play either drum. This way of holding the bongos requires a hand crossover if your right hand wants to play the left drum while the left hand is on the right drum or vice-versa

Good question someone should answer it please, I'd like to know too. The reason being is because I picked up bongos not even a year now and i literally do keep my bongos front/back alignment so i can get to each one easier.

No freezazoid hey I think i've found it man! I was playing around with mine and when you hold it vertical with(with your legs atleast) you inevitably muffle some of the sound the drum produces. At least more so than when you hold them in the horizontal way with your legs.... My personal opinion is you get a crisper more bongo sound when held horizontally... but its relative to what noise you want to make because anything can be an instrument!

no es el estilo tradicional pero se ve que sabe tocar la bateria porque hace buenos armonicos pero no hay variacion en los golpes o tecnicas de mano, como sea e visto peores cuando menos esta cuadrado y acentuado y te das cuenta que tocar la bateria y la percusion latina no es lo mismo buen trabajo ya que este tipo de musica no es comun entre el grueso de bongoseros animo solo checa mas variaciones y golpes te ayudarias mucho aprender el martillo o martilleo
