Braun series 7 type 5694 is actually a good shaver when it is working. But my foil on the cassette wore out within a few months of use. Try to get spare parts for it and you will go beserk. Braun tells me to contact agent in BKK. Bkk tells me spare cassette should be here in July. Now July 16th and still no spare parts. Braun customer service SUCKS! Buy the Panasonic that vibrates at 13,000 rpm vie 10,000 for the Braun

Nice video, I decide to go with Series 7. Can you tell me how much time it need to clean itself. It's kind irritating sound when you turn on cleaning. I'm thinking about normal cleaning not rapid cleaning.

@bigdima3 Well i got a pretty good deal considering they go for like 250 at the stores but anyway e-shavers work great for me i mean i dont have to keep buying razors and shaving cream and it's just quick and easy.

@MrBanilejo1 True, but this one is relatively too expensive. I use my braun shaver, i dont know what model it is but it looks similar to this one and only costs £60.00. What im trying to say is, it does the job well. I dont think there'd be a significant difference if i paid £150.00+ extra. .

@bigdima3 Oh ok, well i had a braun that cost me like 80 before but the trimmer broke after just one year so i read the reviews on this new one and it was really good...now that i have it i really like the feel and shave it gives me better than the one i had...i guess its just dirrent for sum people.

Hi there... I just have a question... I 've seen a lot of reviews for Braun series 7 including 760 cc, 790cc... and there is something important... it seems that there is no option for choosing when you actually want to charge the unit... it seems as you just put the shaver in the base it will start charging... is that right? if so... then it is definitely NOT good. I have been using Braun for the past 15 years and know for a fact that it is helps the battery life if it is emptied completely...

Now I have a Braun 7680 that I purchased 10 years ago.. and I can choose when I want to charge or clean or both... and it works great. so someone who has braun 760 or 790 please let me know if you have the option of choosing to charge the battery and if there is a way to stop charging the shaver each time it's inserted into the base. hey ppl i bought braun too the same product shown here,but after only 3months of usage it got strange problem,it turns off by itself while im shaving,its so annoying,i cant enjoy it anymore,although undoubtedly it provides the closest shave. can any one plz help me on this matter?

@maarabika very strange problem, try leaving the shaver alone for a while- and then retry. If this fails it is highly possible your battery is inoperable. Try buying new shaver or contact braun for a possible replacement. Thanks for commenting!

how good of a shave does this really give you?

I got the 795cc today, which is basically the same as the old 790cc and is actually still called 790cc in the US as far as I know.

The only differences I'm aware of are the black rather than white cleaning station with symbols next to the LEDs instead of text, and the shaver has two additional buttons to increase or decrease shaving intensity.

I set it to the most intensive setting. Didn't get such a close and comfortable shave in just a couple of minutes with my old Braun Series 1 130. Awesome.

Another nice vid on this thing, man its gonna be a tough choice between this and the Panasonic ARC IV which has Vortex cleaning (Panasonics version of this cleaner). This is the best video I have seen for this razor though, so props to you.
