Bono has one of the best voices EVER. He is truly a legend. You can tell he is getting older, but his voice is still fantastic, and the age only adds more character to his voice. Reeve Carney is pretty good too..would like to hear more from him.

F**king hell, that's terrible - I stumbled across this by accident thinking that something that two of the U2 frontman might be involved in might be half decent. What the hell were Bono & Edge thinking? Leave Spiderman as a bloody children's cartoon - stick to grown up music please U2! This is hideous and I only hope it pays a lot because otherwise there's not a whole lot else going for it.

@thomasvanner i do have another oppinion about U2 and creating music for movies. Think about the song they made for Batold me, Thrill me, Kiss me, Kill me). Amazing song.

I would agree if you said that they should not have perform on a talentshow. But for the kid to play with the 2 icons of popmusic is a dream come true to make music with 2 pop/rock 'n roll icons.

Anyway, wether U2 makes music for movies or not, I love U2's music and this kid did a great job with this song.

The song was OK. I think that the whole spider-man show was kind of doomed to mediocrity. But it's perfect for tourists. It was fraught with accidents and silly costumes and ridiculous changes to the story, and it was expensive as heck to make. It might even make all it's money back in 40 years or so.

Other than that, it's alright.

But excepting the drums in Sunday Bloody Sunday, the U2 rhythm section is one of the simplest most childish backing bands in rock history. Seriously, all the interesting things come from Bono and the Edge. Think about With or Without You, one of the bands best songs, ANYONE could play those lines. I play bass, drums and guitar (not as well as the first two at all lol), and I know enough to know that they don't do shit.

Drum and Bass is supposed to be in the background and I think it should be appreciated. U2 are the sum of their parts and that is Adam, Larry, the Edge and Bono! Im not saying that bass and drums are superfluous, Im saying they dont do anything difficult that anyone else COULDN'T do.
