I love Jackie...have all her cds---her voice is surreal and so gorgeous. But this is not one of my favorite performances because it seems too low for her and she seems to be struggling with the low notes. Don't care for the arrangement much either. A much better version is on her cd (with Susan Boyle). Jackie, I can't stop listening to your cds...I hope I can attend your concert some day.

first performance on AGT. I stopped watching TV for a year, could

not do much of anything. I heard about AGT 2011 coming on and I

wondered what happen with the little girl. I did not even know who won.

Googled it and on came You Tube. Now I listen to her songs 12 hours

a day. It helps me remember my 44 years of life with my wife. I will

be ever so grateful for Jackie's voice a her beautiful Talent.

I have had numerous discussions with "voice experts" on these discussion sites, and NOT ONE of them has been able to provide me with a shred of evidence regarding potential voice damage. Damage to the vocal cord tissue is only possible with excessive strain combined with insufficient recovery periods, and typically in combination with other factors such as smoking. None of these factors is present in Jackie.

Great Opera stars such as Bev Sills age 8 & Maria Callas 13 started young and had a long career and were trained by Opera singers!

Jackie performs predominately with her "head voice" and does not "belt" thereby virtually no strain on the vocal chords. In the tradition of all Opera Singers ala 'Bel Canto" style.

The proper use of the mechanics of singing helps reduce any stress on her voice and maintains the quality of the sound such as fullness, intonation, and pitch integrity. She is incredible now. I can't wait until her voice changes and settles into maturity. WOW!

To mau18ful: Find a good voice teacher and practice, not just singing but technique, at least 1 hour a day, 7 days a week. The reason it sounds so effortless is because it is. With proper training it will be as easy as speaking. And don't forget about the mental aspect. That sometimes takes more effort than the physical side of it. Preperation is the key...good luck!
