@jazz265 Up until 1985 (when the wreck was discovered), everyone thought that it went down in one piece. Since it was dark and practically pitch black, only those closest to the ship were able to see what happened to it. Those people were not believed because the surviving officers said they didn't see it break (but neglected to say that they didn't see anything).
how many people survived? when it is loaded i see many people survive

@ADHIKA32 out of the over 2,200 souls aboard Titanic, only about 705 people survived. Over 1500 died.
