  • Obama back in 2008 was to do everything, take up on every issue that the large number of American people cared about. At least that was the assumption or expectation. Today, in 2011, what has happened so far? Has he led anything good? No leader is out there to take care of what the people want, but only to take care of what the corporate sector wants.

  • Run for President Bobby!

  • coal does not kill fish nuclear power does and tell the rich people to stay off jets and dont turn their lights on because their aginst coal.

  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr. an un-indited co-conspirator to the rape and murder of Amanda Moxley

  • @KongSunWu who is amanda moxley? What details do you know regarding the case that confirms his involvement?

  • Hey, all one need do is live through a "bad air" day in NYC. I am around 20 miles from the city and until I moved here a few months ago, I did not fully get it either.

Sure, I lived in Phx, AZ and San Antonio, TX, pretty good sized cities, but ...

And, face it, TX is the worst when it comes to environmental issues. They are even starting to get it.

  • A great man who has transcended his great father, a difficult thing to do.

I can think of no better person to lead our country if he was inclined to become a politician.

  • Piss on rfk jr

  • Basically, what Bobby said is we need a leader who understands the environment and the differences on the energy sources. Hmmmm, Bobby you should run. Then we would have one who understands and cares.

  • @rmontena01

EXACTLY! b/c Kennedy's always look out for the people!

  • Ok, now the way I see it, the person who made the comment about Bobby being a heroin addict, needs to rephrase it, he used to be one. Also, I would like to ask you, have you ever made a mistake in your life, and when you were young, did you goof up?

I have zero tolerance for people who think they are perfect, who have blinders on.

Not to mention, do not know how to forgive the past and go on

I would vote for Bobby jr anytime he wanted to run for public office. I would also campaign for him

  • Its rather ironic that you would be admonishing a conservative to not listen to talk radio and to think for himself during a discussion about a video of a very politically biased Air America talk show host. Do you realize how silly you sound, minxlabrada?

  • Also, where do we put the unclean stuff they strip from the coal? Clearly the "old dirty coal" isnt the same as the "new clean coal" right? So "dirty" stuff is condensed and stored somewhere, right?

You coal people have ruined the lakes in my adirondack region. You cant deny it.

  • I suppose you prefer people who suck taxpayers through corporate cronyism.

The conservative movement in this country has been hi-jacked by corporate control, and they have people like you who hear anything remotely democratic ready to attack.

Think for yourself. Stop listening to talk radio.

  • I get all the kenndys confused. I know this is the one that is the heroin addict. But is he also the one that raped the babysitter?

  • this guis voice es funie, his arguwments must be flawed....

  • Comment removed

  • Bobby's right - there's no such thing as clean coal. What's wrong with his voice, anyone know?

  • He has a condition that is like MS in the voice.

  • BOBBY IS MY HERO.

  • @wolfheinl fuckin A!

  • This is a typical environmentalist argument. "Some particular product is bad. Bad. Bad. And it also isn't cheap." Why don't we let the markets determine what is cheap. We don't even know if man-made global warming exists to be making policy decisions on it. The American people are being swindled.

  • [1 of 2] There's no such thing as clean coal ... coal is destructive to the environment to mine and coal is destructive to the environment to burn ... there are ways of cleaning up coal, such as building coal plants on top of calderas and existing mine shafts, then diverting the waste exhaust underground to be compressed for long term storage, (more)

  • [2 of 2] but such engineering would require more capital than it would take to build solar energy power plants and wind turbine farms ... coal is only lucrative when it is destructive, which is why coal needs to be replaced.

  • Solar is some how cheaper then coal? Lies!

  • The problem with saying "cheaper" or more expensive, is how do you figure 'The Cost'??

IF the coal power stations had to PAY for using the atmosphere as a DUMP for their waste & they had to PAY for cleaning up the open pit mines & PAY for all the silicosis sufferers & had to PAY to clean up the rivers & had to PAY for the extra cancers from the radioactive waste from coal.. then coal would be MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE!

Like so many corporations, they don't pay for the polluting they do to OUR air!

  • Oh please, Obama is not going to ¨take it on¨. Good video still, but that is just being REALLY optimistic there.

  • I just had to give a star down because of the voice...

  • It's a medical condition. Srsly? That cruel when the man has important knowledge and could help our country? I would rather listen to him than read what you anything you write.

  • It was a joke..simmer down.

  • You should try to create jokes that are funny.

  • You should grow a thicker skin ;).

  • He´s voice is fucked

  • This is one of the Kennedys I respect.

That said, I don't think Obama will be allowed to be president. The money masters are white racists. Thats why Princess Diana was murdered with her "brown" husband to be, she was acrrying his child.

Even IF Obama was "elected" I find it VERY hard to believe he would buck big oil. That's Rothschilds money (Royal Dutch Shell & others)and he AND his friends own the coal.

  • Heres a stat, The steel sanitized from the crime scene was never offered a bid to local scrap yard. Heres another stat on that. The barges to carry that steel off to China and India were book into harbour a week before 911. Heres another stat. Marvin Bush Secure com Was the head of the WTC security company a week before 911. Heres another Stat Siverstien said pull it, And the HBC and 911 Comish said bld 7 fell from Fires alone., So when you quote stats dont you think you should know some?

  • Please ignore 911 truth posters unless the vid on the forum is specifically about 911 conspiracy. It muddies the water of any real discourse.

  • You are correct. And everyone should listen to this guys post. Thank you

  • kramit he is like you ths shill factor of the right, who sucks mainstream media through a straw and gets fucked like all of us at tax time. Save your words for bubbah or hilarious hillory. Bush just farted shouldnt you be there to sniff it.

  • Environmentalists are "Fringe characters" Good grief... He is wasting time. While solar power is a good point, it is not financially feasible in the near future for every house and home that should have started 25 years ago. there is plenty of research on YT about clean coal. He has personal interests just like Al gore did with the so called "Global Warming" statistics.

  • Are we now attributing all these deaths and acid rain to coal plants? All BS. How do we know? You can bet you'd see a long line of lawyers if they could prove that crap. Second lie...solar is cheaper than coal. If that were true, you'd see every WAL-MART with solar. WAL-MART has only been able to make it work in CA and HI due to the high costs of electricity and tremendous tax credits. Fuel cell making hydrogen out of water is the answer but that gets squashed by oil every time.

  • bob ya patsy go an gargle with salt water or sommit...im sick of listening to your brainwashed NWO i love obama arse...stop smoking crack ya fecker...ya not JFK...just feck off BOB...

  • Don't put your faith in Obama to do the right thing, Mr. Kennedy.

With all due respect, that's a naive pipe-dream.

At this point, Obama's pretty much lock, stock, & paid for. He won't act on this willingly. And if he does, I will be more than pleasantly surprised.

  • PeaceCzar, agree partially w. you. However, at this point it is better to expect Obama to have ears for environmental friendly electricity production than McCain, who besides being illiterate in economy (in his own words, he needs to be "educated" in that). McCain in one of his demagogic speeches talks about "clean coal", which is an oxymoron.

Better the "possibility" of Obama being sensitive to clean energy production than McSame certainty of any intelligent thinking.

  • me too.

  • Wait a minute. Mr Kennedy said that the Appalachians are the most diverse ecosystem and they are being destroyed and will never come back. I thought the Amazon Rain forest was the most diverse ecosystem? There can only be ONE most diverse. You can't retain credibility while also claiming EVERY ecosystem you want to paint as the victim as the most diverse.

P.S. there are "externalities" to wind and solar as well. There are potentially infinite "externalities" to everything.

  • Maybe it is the most diverse in the US, that is not so important here. The important is that the "externalities" he refers are for instance all the potential diseases (loss of health, death, health care costs, etc). If you consider all the externalities, Wind, Solar, Geothermal, Hydro, even Nuclear, etc have a much smaller cost than burning fossil fuels.

  • I respectfully disagree. Using hyperbole to generate emotion in the place of enlightening people through factual education is exactly the point. That is why instead of building consensus on issues, polarization only increases. Credibility is CRITICAL for any source of information.

Please point me to the studies that show Nuclear power has smaller externalities compared to fossil fuels (psst Yucca mountain).

Haven't you heard about all the ecosystem damage wind turbines and solar panels do?

  • JOKERTIM77

Tks for the respectful disagreement. Good to debate on this level.

I aggre that most electricity generation methods have some level of impact. The question is to choose or invest in research/installation on those which have less damaging impact.

Coal burning has a huge problem with air pollution (if one doesn't buy the CO2 GW problem, consider the heavy metals/acid rain, etc that come with coal burning).

  • Hydro seems to be the cheapest, per kw installed, has some impact on displacing people, affecting flora/fauna on the flooded areas by dams.

I'm not 100% certain but i've never heard of any nuclear disasters in France (almost 80% of electricity from Nuclear).

Never heard of nuclear leaks in Germany as well.

I still think hydro/wind/solar better options than coal. PV cells are still expensive per watt, but new technologies are coming up, like the new thin film Photo Voltaic laminates.

  • not to mension the way he pretends to CRY i mean lol

  • This is some serious, serious, serious shit. I stopped eating fish--which used to be my only source of animal protein--long ago, because of the mercury. Their might even be a link between mercury poisoning any Alzheimer's, which is now epidemic. They are not poisoning just the earth, they are poisoning US! We ARE the fucking earth.

  • if you're looking for the omega 3 & 6 oils you used to get from fish... try hemp oil! It's better for you than fish!!!

Couldn't believe it myself.. at first... then did some research.

    Hemp oil! Thats the key.

  • For the cost of the Iraq war, we could have fitted every home in America with solar and/or wind power. Right now, it cost about $10K/1000 kwh/month. Average home uses about 2000kw/month. That's about $2trillion. There would be no need for transmission lines or taking up huge swaths of earth for wind/solar farms. no infrastructure to maintain. And energy INDEPENDANCE for every home in US. How'd you like NO utility bills? That's REAL freedom, FINANCIAL freedom. It's all about will, people.

  • Great comment, fattkid. It would be interesting to compare what the US spent killing innocents in Iraq (based on the WMD lies, btw)to what the same amount of money could do in building clean energy production facilities, generating A LOT of jobs for US citizens.

The hugest Hydro-electric power plant in the world, the Chinese Three Gorges Dam with 25,000 Gw (ca. 4 times Grand Coulee, US biggest) cost 25 billion dollars.

The US military annual budget alone is ~ 500 billion.

  • Just another lobbyist. He needs to take the clothes pin off his nose. Just trying to jack our rates. Georgia Power just did it with that environmental story to the tune of 5 %. Now this piece of crap is trying to get us into solar which is almost double the cost at present with a fraction of the capacity. They can't develop solar fast enough to keep up with a fraction of demand. Let us develop fuel cell technology and protect it from the oil thieves and we'll have our solution.

  • I used to drive right past the Columbian Coal Cracking plant in Hamilton Ontario. The smell of Creosuit in the morning and in the after noon it smells like coaltar shampoo. Coal as a fuel source i agree has to go. But coal in chemical processes we have become dependant on. Same as Petrolium. Bad to burn but who today cannot live with out the petrochemical industry. Reduction of consumption in hydrocarbon fuels will happen. Until then only drive as little as you have to. And recycle.

  • I started riding my bicycle 6 miles to work every day for this very reason. Its a win win situation - I spend 2 hours commuting, but I'm also saving a trip to the gym for exorcising. Of course I'm going to have to go back to my car once the winter hits - something I'm not really looking forward to, as riding a bike is much more enjoyable to me.

  • your just another muppet bob kennedy...you aint JFK...your just another NWO puppet...ohh ya love obama do you...ya fecking stoolie...another in a long line of muppets...i dont need you or anyone to tell me what i can do ya corporait slag...

  • lol - i love the accusations first, facts later, alex jones crowd - they remind me of big foot conspiracy theorists.

  • well m8 i aint an AJ fan as hes a loud mouthed racist barny rubble load of shit...some truths mixed with lies...BS...an over acting ohh not to mension the way he pretends to lie lol an he interviews rockafella after being so called arrested the day before...BIG LOL.

  • Hmmm...It seems like the majority of U.S. is comprised of sheep. Big business uses PR and celebrities to deliver a false message just so they can achieve their end objective...tax on carbon (just another tax that goes into the abyss) and more oil drilling. BTW, leave bigfoot alone. He lives :)

  • I am not so naive to put total trust in my government- but It is equally naive to put total trust in anyone whose story conflicts with the govs. I look at both sides of an argument, and look at criticisms of both. At that point I can usually make an educated guess as to which side is being more honest and rational. At this point i ask questions designed to point out the irrationality of claims -and if i don't get a reasonable response from supporters of the theory - my investigation is done.

  • If i continue to get hokey information from a source - I stop going to the source, and label it a loon. When alex jones talks about moloch being and owl, when moloch wasn't an owl - he gets discredited. When he supports 9/11 truthers - who can't give me any rational explanation of why someone would bother crashing planes into a building, when they already have explosives planted in the building. There are tons of these issues in his logic and research that result in my branding him as a loon.

  • driubi. all you need is an n in your nick and the mix comes out nibirud. riubin was a a druid priest, Who lit the fires wheree people were burned in sacrifice. Haveing a therum on your own opinions nice. Everyone should have at least one. Some are perplexed by all this information and it can overwhelm to say the least, To conclude you summerised a conclusive opinion before he next bomb drops is premature. Sort of like blowing your load before it goes in. Try deter it comes as a topical 4U2Eat.

  • I never conclude anything to an absolute. I base my ideas on the likelihood of an argument. With the knowledge i have of 9/11 truther claims - i can compare the probability of it being true with the probability of bigfoot the lockness monster or the moon landing hoax being true. This probability is so low for these things - that for all practical purposes - they don't effect my actions or statements.

  • Now your showing your colours. A preconcived agendist with drone melodicy. This is not unknown mysterys or specualtion. This is highly credible sources of information that is being blacked out in the Media Mainstream, You sound like your looking for a job at FOX. Your Actions are moot as your statements to those proponinants of the flat world. Here you have on record a goverment that has lied to the people documented in even the mainstream over 900 times. The goverment tit you know very well.

  • Please read everything i posted before you open your yap and start making accusations. The person you're arguing with isn't me, its a projection of what you want me to be. Take your straw man arguments elsewhere.

  • Compairing the Big Foot and Lochness was your pinicle point in generalizing the disinformed view used quite often by those who compare potatoes to grapes, In your case, Im wondering if your personalitys intact or theres more of you in there. If its not you who then. Reguarding your last spew.

  • driubi"I am not so naive to put total trust in my government"

cycimian"The goverment tit you know very well."

I did not say that bigfoot or lochness was like 9/11 - I was comparing probabilities of the existence of lochness and Bigfoot to the probabilites of a government conspiracy to take out its own people to go to war. This is a valid comparison because for all 3, there is NO verifiable evidence, and promoters of each conspiracy use dishonest means to further encourage belief in the BS

  • You a classic head case, My second wifes primary clientel were parents who brought there psycotic and nurotic children to see.

You contridict yourself and then profess to be all knowing ignoring or your just too stupid to look into it with an open mind. Your the perfect audiance member to a fox shillout.Numbers. Cheny Stand down., Twr2 hit.Long after highjack alerts out. Twr 1 hit. Cheny Bunker maintain stnd. Stand down DC g to a defences. Pent gets hit. Sounds to me like an inside job.

  • Please point out where i profess to be all knowing. I just said you can't be 100% sure of anything, but once the statistical probability of something is so low, and the evidence so weak - the rational thing to do is to count on it being false. I explained how i looked at a situation - I looked at the truthers evidence - then i looked and the criticisms of it. After doing that it was obvious the truther's evidence was weak, not verifiable or true.

  • If they provide real evidence, i'm completely willing to check it out - but they have earned my skepticism - just as the government has. Confusion, and mistakes aren't evidence of an inside job. Please explain to me how you make the connection. This is like saying that a person who had their car stolen 3 times was in collusion with the theft because he didn't attempt to wrestle the car from the thief. No evidence.

  • Ahah, The statistical as if you had the stats or even know what the hell your spewing about. Now tell me oh pervaier of absolute shit. Where did you get those stats from. Spock? Or are you just trying to act inteligent ant eint.

  • I do have the stats - every claim so far that I've heard truthers make - aren't verifiable, are misleading and devious, and take quotes out of context (which sound like fox news to me. That means that so far their is no evidence for truther claims - which means that their is still a minute statistical probability for it being true (because their could be nearly unlimited claims about the subject). I just said that absolutes are BS so all your "pervaier" shit is mute- as well as your ad hominems

  • actually there's plenty of 'evidence' to show that the Bush regime had their eyes on a WAR with Iraq long before he even took office! There is also 'evidence' that the war was being planned before 911..

911 was even 'required' for the PNAC plan "Project for the New American Century" to work (a 'new Pearl Harbour' as they put it)... perhaps read those first & THEN say there's no 'evidence'.

What exactly counts as 'evidence' in your eyes? Have you researched on sites outside the corporate media?

  • You're misquoting the PNAC article - which doesn't say anything about a requirement. What they are saying is that it will take a very long time to build up a strong military, baring an event like pearl harbor. They at no point said this was require - it was a observation. Just like me saying something like "in order for the US to re-institute a draft, there would need to be a invasion of america." This doesn't mean that i'm am advocating other countries to invade america.

  • I'm not misquoting.. I used inverted commas in the quote i.e. "quote" & a single inverted comma to show what I meant by required.. i.e. 'required'.. not "required"!

Subtle difference I know, but the point was if you say you want to do something, but it won't happen without some catalyst.. then you're basically saying you want the catalyst to happen so that your plan can go ahead! In fact you're saying the plan CAN'T go ahead without the catalysing event! I DO understand English I promise you!

  • ok, good job, so your not misquoting, you're miss representing it.

If I were a pro-lifer, and i said that in order for roe vs wade to be overturned, a few liberal supreme court justices have to die - i am not advocating that the justices be killed.

  • hmmm.. I don't know the case you're talking about but to take the argument on... so the guy who says the only way his guy will go free is if a few judges die... then two weeks later those very judges die.. you couldn't say that he was the cause of their deaths (it's circumstancial), but you might argue that he had put the word out who needed to die or what needed to be done.

Its called plausible deniability! But the message goes out that a job needs to be done before your plan can go ahead.

  • i don't agree with the analogy. First off the article refers to pearl harbor, which is a long way away from nyc. It was an aerial assault carried out by a nation's military. I think a closer analogy would be that a lawyer in florida says that his client couldn't get off with no charge unless 2 of the jury members get killed. Later that day, in montana, 2 members of a jury were killed.

  • so your point is...?? I think our 'language' is confusing the issue..

Your analogy is basically what the PNAC document said... that their plan was unlikely to happen "save SOME catalyzing event like a 'New Pearl Harbour'"... by which it meant something that would SHOCK the public enough that they would basically agree with whatever 'The Government' said! (like fools, most people 'trust' their Governments are benign when the opposite is the case)... and of course then... it happened.

  • very interesting what he proposes.

  • THE DNC SPEECHES, have been LESS than MEDIOCRE with exception of one or two.

I want Gold Girls Back on TV.

  • Someone should create a way to use pure gravity as energy!

  • they have... its called hydro-electric power

  • That involves water though...I'm talking about pure gravity.

  • ejbh3160...When I read Steadno comment above, it came to my mind exactly the same phrase that you wrote, before i read it, lol.

Hydro-electricity has a very low cost per kw, the only disadvantage being some environment impact when the power plants are huge. But these disadvantages dwarf compared to coal burning power plants.

  • indeed sunamorio6765... in fact if you have a wind turbine and the wind blows when you have enough energy... then the best way to STORE energy is in WATER!!! Pump it uphill when the wind blows and let it fall when you need it.! GRAVITY is a wonderful thing and we could ALL learn something from it!

  • ejbh3160-Fantastic-someone who Knows the TRUTH Perpetual machines could work if Gravity is Used Properly. WATER IS the Source-always has been-always will BE. Right about Hemp also-besides that the Herb is damn near invinsible and look at ALL the substances it is made up of. WE have decades of research to do on this EXOTIC Plant. BUT;SALT is the Life saver-Cesium.Sea Salt-for it moves water(under ice)Rubidium;Baking Soda;Cell salts- others(NOT Table Salt-the destroyer)

  • Thanks runinfox... I'll look into those salts... I've always used sea salt... the table stuff is a slow poison basically.

  • Here's another honest politician (there arent that many out there these days so pay close attention people!)

    & auamoti... SO WHAT??!!

    Yawn!

What's that got to do with ANYTHING he's talking about??

  • You just have to make sure he isn't just Lobbying for Big Oil. Usually politicians against one energy source are funded by the opposing interest.

We need people that are championing OUR interest, not Big Oil, or Big Coal. Our Safety and Well-being first, then their profits, not the other way around.

If he is Legit, let him Sit. If he is Game, he is to Blame!

  • Yet he's right about coal wherever he's coming from.

Also if you listened he said solar panels could supply ALL America's energy needs even if everyone had electric cars. Then he said WIND could solve ALL of America's energy needs. Hardly promoting oil!

ANY ONE of the alternatives could replace coal & oil today.

The real danger to the Corporates is if we all buy a solar water heater, a solar PV kit & a small wind turbine! How will THEY make money if WE produce our own power??

  • They will make it on building and maintaining those products hopefully. However solar is only 10-15% efficient at this point, so Wind and Wave are our only real advantage. Hopefully he is legit - God that would be refreshing wouldn't it? lol

I just trust politicians about as far as I can throw them up a hill. All I ever hear is the 'hissing' sound of lies and deception - even Green has a lobby, don't kid yourself. Gore is making millions off it. Look it up for yourself and see. I'll pray. lol

  • The anti-solar lobby keeps saying about it ONLY being 15-20% efficient. So who you lobby for? 15-20% is AMAZING & are new innovations. e.g. in New Zealand they've developed an ink that is 10X more cost-effective... thats 10X more power per $!

That's what counts.. COST.. not %'age efficiency!

A solar water heater is VERY cheap & yet most homes spend a fortune of heating water for washing. Solar PV is also efficient enough for most domestic needs now. A wind turbine would be a tersiary system.

  • except Gore isn't 'Green' by a long shot!

The word 'Green' has been hijacked by the corporates, so now you have to work it out for yourself..

If you want to REALLY know what is Green philosophy these days, then read the 'Manifesto For A Sustainable Society'. Its there in ALL the search engines for anyone who wants to know the difference..

  • To ejbh3160:

Great comment, man. RFK,Jr is an environmental lawyer, bringing up crucial info for every human being, particularly Americans. In 2005 the US had 48,9% of its electricity output from burning coal. The result is huge emission of CO2 and methane , both greenhouse gases, plus waste products including uranium, thorium, and other radioactive and heavy metal contaminants.

He refers to the dangerous high mercury contamination of all lakes, rivers and soil in the US.

  • Yes, he is. If you put "Robert F. Kennedy media" into the search engine on youtube there is an almost 10 minute speech from him about the media. It is good.

  • does he smoke? lol

  • agreed

  • wheres his voice????

  • His voice has sounded like that for a while. But it sounds more strained than usual.

  • I found this online:

Robert F, Kennedy suffers from a vocal disorder known as spasmodic dysphonia. 15,5500 people in this country are afflicted with the condition.

The voice disorder gives a strained, broken or sometimes breathy tone to people who have the condition, who include Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and National Public Radio's Diane Rehm.

I wondered about that in the past, but never bothered to look it up.

  • Thank you very much, I wondered about it too.

  • why does he talk like a faggot? boy, i thought Ron Paul sounded like one. YUKKY white trash

  • why do you say stuff like a racist moron? He has a medical condition!

  • hey Brit shit....i found that out. i already apologized so FUCK OFF

  • careful you're showing off your only brain cell again.

  • My mom has it -- poor thing has pain whenever she talks now.

  • Beonda, that sucks. I wonder if this a condition that gets worse over time, because like I said above, his voice sounded more strained than usual...

  • I think it usually does get worse as you age -- My mom is thinking of having some sort of botox treatment for it

  • oh...i didn't know that. hope Real News deletes my other comment below. soreee

  • thank you for this
