As a Californian, I admit Prop 8 was bad, but it least it didn't take away people's rights to adopt their children! We're in 2009 now. Why are people still acting like this is the 1950s? CPS kidnaps children from good parents, and then sends them to abusive foster homes. Also, on gay adoption, there are many children who have no homes and are in abusive foster care and easily could be adopted by a gay couple or unmarried couple. Don't believe what you are told, because children and babies are stolen all the time, put in foster homes and adopted out, and then told their parents are druggies and don't love them, when the opposite is true. I totally agree. I had a domestic charge because my mrs and I were in a screaming and yelling match while our 2 babies lay sound asleep. She was over the limit and so was I. No hitting or hair pulling. just good old plain door slamming and below the belt remarks. A neighbor called it in. the kids were sound asleep but it didn't matter. my other 2 older boys {gone} and my 2 yr old + our newborn were taken because "there was no sober care giver" we r still together and have the children. ---next
