the problem with the 6g2 is the phase inverter.It's a cathodyne which means the output tubes are driven by one tube section.The deluxe 6g3 has a long tail PI which means each output tube is driven by it's very own tube section.It makes a huge difference.

Less "polite". More easily breaks up when you play hard. Little bit more hum as well. Definitely a worthwhile option.

love it. Seems they've changed the specs which is a shame, this is the one with a huge neck and 20" radius fretboard.
The woodwork is excellent, but the electronics are shit. I replaced all pots, switches and pickups almost immediately.
