I cannot understand why people continue to say J-Rich is BETTER than Vince. NO. Vince raised the bar for creativity with his dunks in 2000. J-Rich might not have ever though of that between the legs reverse had Vince not done it first off of a bad bounce from a teammate, mind you. And J-Rich cannot do a 360 windmill, PERIOD. But that left hand reverse was nice....I'd put them very close, with Vince being slightly better, and being a trendsetter and game-changer when it comes to dunks.

J Rich has absolutely no power in his dunks. Vince could do everything Richardson did, and then throw it down viciously. I don't think I've ever seen a J Rich dunk have the ball bounce past the rim after hitting the floor. Much respect to both, but that, tied in with the fact that Vince had the perfect rhythm in each of his dunks as dunking is much like dancing, from an artistic standpoint, is what makes Vince commonly referred to as the best dunker of all time. J-Rich was the SICKEST. Vince was great, but J-Rich went beyond Vince. Vince ended it with the through-the-legs from T-Mac, but J-Rich did a lob, then through-the-legs, then dunked it BACKWARDS with his LEFT HAND. He did all Vince did and more.

Carter was considered one of the best players in the league for a few years, where Richardson's name hasn't even entered that thought. Great dunker, good player, but there is no way. It's not even a question. Anybody who has followed and watched basketball knows that there isn't even a comparison. VC could have been something really special in the right situation.

Don't get me wrong, J-Rich is right there, but VC's attitude, swagger, and his finish is what set's him apart. Vince is the only player to ever end a dunk contest in the first round. If McGrady wasn't his cousin, he would have never came. I've never seen NBA players so shook.

I do not agree with that. In 2002, Jason won the average, but a year later he did it quite spectacularly. In 2004, Round 1, he did something extraordinary, and in the second round (almost) two of the best dunk in history Slamdunk Contest (not successful, unfortunately) - 360 alley-oop between the legs and 360 alley-oop on elbow. His between the leg was on his first try. He did a freethrow line dunk (it was like Dr. J's). J-Rich only had one decent between the leg, and Kobe hit his between the legs easy in the 1997 dunk contest. And J-Rich can't touch VC lol...
