Well scrimming is really popular now on ET... as well is TJ with the release of tjmod.

But compared to 2 - 6 years ago the number of people playing has really dropped.

You dont see many maps being made as much as you did a few years ago.

There is also less mod development the game was completely abandoned by its developers.

There are also to many servers, diluting the amount of players, most of the full servers run omnibots.

Another sign of ET's death are less bots being made.

well, the reason why you can jump that much is because the game runs on the quake 3 engine and this causes you to just keep juming etc... =D

if you haven't played this game yet, you SHOULD! it's basically one of the games that made FPS what they are today and thousands of players still play it. and, it's free =)

i used to really love this game, and I was a little crazy about it, I used to get killing sprees 9/10 every time I spawned, I loved the FG42, but then eventually just got bored of it and moved on to Counter Strike: Source, still, I give this game a ton of respect..

Well... i've got to admit that I haven't played ET pretty much since the release of this video. I bought an xbox 360 and got into halo / COD so I stopped playing ET.

I'd suggest checking out some forums or reinstalling ET. (be sure to save your etkey though) Do you play on 2.60B? or 2.55?

anyways, regarding to your more advanced gamma jumps, u should check out my control jumps 2 video =)

Yeah i checked the control jumps very nice!

I play 2.55 i've tried reinstalling and allowing the punkbuster application to run but it never works and i get disconnected all the time :(

BTW have you ever played the ET mod TCE? its exactly like COD as a matter in fact COD stole everything from it its in my vids check TCE Test i think its better than CoD despite being less popular

How to convert the record to a video?

well, first of all press F12 whilst playing, some white words on the top of the screen should appear saying something about recording. When you're done recording, open your console and press /stoprecord.

afterwards, download Fraps for free (links in description), open it, open ET, go to your replays, play the replay you want and start recording with Fraps. the record will then be saved in your Fraps map as a .avi or something I believe.

you can capture footage in q3 engine games without using fraps
