  • what is the oz of the gloves that he use?? answer me

  • @killlerzoo He's using 8oz gloves, old school style to condition the hands and get them stronger. However for training purposes most fighters now use 10-16oz to work on speed. Ali was naturally fast, so he did not really need to work on speed as opposed to say power, which he wanted to improve on. So yeah he's using 8oz but unless you're naturally fast, you might aswell just use 10oz like Pacquiao or 16oz like Mayweather and increase speed.

  • I love this player ...q

  • Ali here is past his prime preparing for foreman fight, foreman at that time was 40 fights 40 wins,37 kos knocking out frazier and norton, thats why everybody thought ali would not win,Ali of course was confident and already had fought great fighters like patterson, liston etc

  • this looks like rocky training with journalists at rocky 3

  • @ricochetlaugh The person who came up with the Rocky movies got their inspiration from Muhammad Ali that's why there are similarities..

  • esto es de when we were kings ??

  • Ali Boma Ye! Ali Boma Ye! LOLOLOL

  • Greatest of all time!!!!!

  • the dude wouldn't last today look at this clown

  • ALII BOMA YEE!!!!!!

  • i would hate to be that heavy bag

  • Drink ur Ali Kool Aid. I'm 45 and This guy has to b the most overrated athlete ever. was a lot of mouth. Besides The Foreman fight which was f'd up at 3 in the morning in Africa . He never dominated any great fighter and actually struggled with Norton (who beat him if u watch the fight), Joe Frazier and lost to Leon Spinks. Please.....

  • @aitraining envious crackkker feeling insecure when seeing the superior black man talking about how great he is.

  • ali is the man haha just love it when he gives his fighters shit hahaha

  • I wonder how many fight's he would have won if he weren't so tall. This guy has terribly technique, he is fast for his weight and he is obviously strong but he has terrible technique :/ I think this guy is overrated if that's the best he can do.

  • @punktheman u havent seen shit to label the greatest overated,u only just saw a few minutes

  • @Da2faan You must have brain problems if you think I base my comment on this video alone. I'm tired of seeing this guy training and fighting and his technique was crappy.

  • @punktheman i do have brain problems but im pretty sure urs far exceeds mine,1st of all there is nt much of his training to be seen on youtube for u to come to any conclusion, 2nd of all every genuinne fighting critique would tell u that alis fighting technique was unique to muhammed ali, and he was the only pugilist that successfully utilised his own unique method all through his career wis a few obvious twicthes since his comeback in the 70s,to be an ali u gotta have big balls for a big gob

  • @punktheman I wonder how many fight's you would win if you weren't just sitting behind your computer and hating on people? I think that your a troll or just a moron who thinks they're killing it when in reality your nothing but pathetic waste of breath

  • @DaureTube I'm not sitting behind a computer all day hating people, I have better things to do. I'm not a troll, I just state the truth. I'm not a moron, I've had good grades as fas as I can remember. The fighting thing. I've been fighting since I started taekwondo at age 11, fighting at least 2X a week, eventually joined boxing and won my first 7 fights, unfortunatly I had to quit boxing because the old coach quit for some reason and the new one sucks. Anything else?

  • @punktheman You've got to be kidding, you actually took the time to justify yourself to me and everyone else reading this feed that you are somebody. Also, you have fought the entirety of SEVEN boxing matches and think that you can label Muhammad Ali as overrated? How old are you by the way, I'm curious?

  • @DaureTube Good grief your persistent. To answer your questions in order

No, to justify that I know something about boxing/fighting, else I would have given you my personal life as well if I wanted you to know I am somebody. The topic is boxing, not my life

Yep, other than that, I've been watching boxing matches of the 60's or 70's (through youtube and dvd's of course) all the way to the current stuff and since I have to train at home now, I watch many tutorials to improve my training

    22. Happy?

  • @punktheman I guess we'll leave it at that. good day

  • @DaureTube all right. likewise :)

  • Bye

  • ali was left handed?

  • @TheZoelzer2 nope just a legend

  • in todays world...boxers are only famous for a few months...then they are never spoken of again.

  • is there a pubic hair on the camera?

  • @ss11311086 THE CAMERA WAS MASTERBATIN'

  • He also was great in a sense that he didn't talk that crazy Mike Tyson shit. Like Tyson is an animal on the microphone, Ali would play games, have fun, joke around, and be a character. When he spoke, he sounded like the greatest, and nobody ever interrupted him, They just let him go and laughed along lol it was all in good fun

  • @RandomLevitation Yes because Ali was as quick with his tounge than his fists and that man changed boxing forever.

  • The way he moves is so unorthodox to boxing, It was so new and unbelievable to see a 200lb 6'3 heavyweight dancing like that

  • @RandomLevitation 215lbs lol.

    It pretty amazing eh?

  • @musood6630 I used to ask my dad, "If he's the greatest why doesn't anyone ever copy his exact style? Move like he did?" and he always said "You can't copy him, He was just to good, nobody could do that." And it's true. His reflexes, balance and footwork were perfect, Never stumbled, never tripped, never a awkward skip, Always cool on the feet. And his confidence just killed everyone mentally lol.

  • Why does everyone keep saying tyson was small?

The guy was 5'11. Hardly any reach difference between taller fighters and much taller than many.

  • Is it me....or were boxing gloves smaller back then?

  • @5h4ggyDr34d he is so great that the gloves look smaller on his hands :)

  • The fuckin' greatest in so many ways!!

  • Buster Douglas boxed using movement, Jab and combinations. What were the results?

  • @bscottdp And Mike Tyson did not fight like he was supposed to.

  • remember when heavy weights didnt have to work out to be heavy weights?

  • @danksweettooth i was going to say that....lol...you are right

  • when i see muhammed ali for some reason all i think of is mike tyson THAT DUDE IS FAST.

  • plz all of you....they both legends

    muhammed ali & mike tyson

  • If I read another Tyson comment on an Ali video, or vice-versa, I'll explode. 1) Anyone who is certain of a result in this match-up are just as bad as those who thought Liston or Foreman would annihiliate Ali 2) Boxing is great because it is unpredictable, so why ruin it by deciding the victor before a fight even begins? 3) The idea that Ali would EASILY defeat Tyson, and vice-versa, is absurd, and insulting to their abilities. IN CLOSING: we will never know, and those who are sure are insecure.

  • @TenTonHorse Ali will beat Tyson, Ali is so good, that he will make boxing predictable in his favor.

  • @Impetrate420Justice Then one of the best fights ever would be pretty dull for you, knowing the winner before the fight begins. If Henry Cooper had tagged Ali 2 minutes earlier, I'm not sure that Ali would've survived. Tyson hit harder than Cooper and was a better finisher, so the idea he'd definitely lose is crazy. On the other hand, Ali had amazing ring intelligence, endurance, and a granite chin, so I have no idea who would win, and that's the win I like it; boxing should be unpredictable.

  • @TenTonHorse Tyson was a good fighter, not a great fighter. He didn't beat the best, he lost to the best two times. COUGH lennox lewis

  • @Impetrate420Justice He only fought Lewis once. I rate Tyson below Lewis overall since he had probably the lowest mental strength ever, whereas Lewis was mentally strong and was very consistent. I'm referring to the Rooney-era Tyson when I compare him to Ali.

  • @TenTonHorse Nah,Nope,Not a chance in the world Rooney-Era Tyson Could Beat Ali, Or Have The Chance Too.

  • @Impetrate420Justice There's no way you can know for certain. I mentioned the Henry Cooper hook. Imagine that had happened two minutes earlier in the round, imagine that hook had come from Tyson. I'm not saying a Rooney-era Tyson would beat the Ali that, for example, fought Cleveland Williams. I know that Ali could win, in fact, I can't decide between them. Ali knew Foreman or Liston could beat him, and that's why he fought them - to prove he's the best. Tyson's no different.

  • @TenTonHorse Whatever i don't feel like reading your long drawn out paragraph, you are annoying, believe what you want to believe you little bitch.

  • @Impetrate420Justice If you can't finish a youtube comment, you're officially a retard. Little bitch.

  • @TenTonHorse You're just pure whining fag, i don't need to hear a grown man whining and bitching about millionaires to me. Good riddance and fuck off

  • @Impetrate420Justice What's an impure whining fag? I'm also 12.

  • @TenTonHorse Well said.

  • @TenTonHorse Same thing for the mayweather vs pacquiao fight ... its very annoying

  • @TenTonHorse

I c ur point but even them little african black kids knew who was going to win THIS fight ....lol

  • @TenTonHorse Yeah but it's still fun to compare legendary champions of 2 different eras, especially with the clashing styles of Ali and Tyson. Now it is annoying when people confuse their opinion with fact as if they know for sure who would win and how. But if its all in fun and people are aware that its all speculation then there's nothing wrong with analyzing "dream match ups".

  • @PHILLYHEAT215 Sure, I'm not against comparing fighters from different eras, but as you said, people often confuse opinion with fact and make comments like "Tyson would destroy Ali" or "Ali would make a fool of Tyson." I'm not saying that couldn't have happened, but we must understand it is pure speculation. It's also disrespectful to imply that a great fighter would be walking into a fight like a lamb to the slaughter, not only to his ability but to the other guy's accomplishment in winning.

  • @TenTonHorse thank you!

  • I'ma bring this excitement back into the world of boxing.. Just you guys wait you'll see

  • @steele0002 ali would destroy tyson. ali could take punches from the hardest hitters in boxing history. all ali would have to do is make the fight last past the first round then destroy tyson. lets remember tyson was pretty much useless if he couldnt end the fight early.

  • @chrispuncher1 You might be absolutly right, we'll never know for sure.

  • loving the "snap" sound whenever he hits the bag :D

  • all this who could beat who, whos better then who bullshit is so old and annoying. they're pro fighters, they step into the ring to prove themselves. the only thing any of you try to prove is who would win in a hypothetical fight that will never happen. keep beating your heads on the wall

  • Tyson was alot faster and stronger, Ali wouldnt of lasted three rounds. Tyson would of beat beat the killer instinct right out of ali.

  • @steele0002, you're not a boxing fan, you're a Tyson nuthugger. There is virtually NOTHING to suggest that Tyson could beat Ali in any respect, but do you not realise how stupid you sound saying it wouldn't go three rounds? Ali fought bigger 'n' badder men in the shape of Liston and Foreman, and beat them both, never hitting the deck. He also beat Shavers, a bigger puncher than Tyson. What HEAVYWEIGHTS did Tyson beat in three rounds or less? Berbick? Seldon? Tubbs? Dear oh dear.

  • @iljn1988 Fuck you, from what I seen from Tyson and Ali, Ali is slow as shit, my assessment isnt from internet research like you. Your obviously not a boxing fan if you can't see that. Layoff the tea and crumpets, it's rotting your brain.

  • @steele0002, says the tit who reckons Ali gets knocked out in 3 against Tyson. You sit on your arse all day pretending to be a boxing fan - I've been in it all my life, box in the ABAs and anyone who has stepped in a ring knows that an all-rounder with a jab and great chin is exactly what Tyson struggled against. Muhammad Ali aint Frank Bruno! Described by TYSON and Marciano as the fastest Heavyweight of all time, then you claim he's slow. Clown. Back to watching Tyson KO reels.

  • @iljn1988 You dont know shit, you muppet, your just a blob pretending to be an expert. You probaly got beat up when you were a kid so your mom homeschooled your ass so you could look up boxing all day. So after years and years of reading and researching boxing you could get on youtube and try to make people beleive your bullshit you call knowledge, you bloke. Tyson was the shit, you can't except it. Billy no-mates lol I hope your mom takes your internet away.

  • @steele0002, I fully accept that Tyson was the best Heavyweight in the world in the late eighties, that his form in those years was fantastic and that he was very good to watch. But anyone with an ounce of sense can see that what he did was hardly unequaled, and that he lost the fights which would have defined him. It's also clear to see that Tyson lacked a plan B, and heart when it mattered. That would have cost him against Ali, who was a terrible match up for Tyson. It's pretty simple.

  • @steele0002 Ali and slow did not go together. the man reflexes were not hte same before the layoff. However he was just as quick on his feet and with his hands. EXPERT

  • @steele0002 Ali and slow did not go together. the man reflexes were not hte same before the layoff. However he was just as quick on his feet and with his hands.

  • @steele0002 Tyson faster. No comment.

  • @anthony57719 ali smarter no comment.

  • @anthony57719 Tyson faster than Ali? Don't know about that one....

  • @anthony57719 this the heavybag he is not working on speed . Ali was faster than tyson , tyson had shorter limbs may look quicker but he is'nt he is just more compact , personally ali was stronger and could last longer than tyson .

  • @calbo555 he was not stronger than tyson, thats stupid he did have a lot more stamina than him though..

  • @dayze1111 mind how small tyson was and his limbs were shorter so looked bigger , trust me ali did'nt look as big untill u stood him next to a normal person , he was massive !! but yeah he had so much more stamina and heart !

  • The man.

  • @thanameznick wow you really say no hard workers you can debate about the skill and talent of boxers from this era and last 2 but saying that there are no hardworkers makes you look silly any boxer that is world ranked is training their hardest in the gym if your a world ranker your working your ass off especially some of are big names work verry hard examples of 2 that everyone knows floyd and pacman 2 of the hardest working men in boxing as of now, dont get me wrong there are many more

  • @crewfoos I didn't say there were no hard workers.I said as a general statement to to all other sports included that they don't make hard workers like they use to. Of course there are people omitted from the statement but a few don't make a whole. Of course to be world ranked or a great athlete you have to train hard. Wasn't tryin to offend but it's true that work ethic as a whole has died down. Not in every person, but as a whole.

  • @thanameznick *used

  • @thanameznick there are exceptions...like the Pacman

  • @thanameznick im not sure if thats exactly it, i do agree with you about boxers not being like they used to, but i think one of the reasons its like that now is because most, if not all, of the great boxing trainers are now dead

  • @thanameznick Agreed: and they don't make men like they used to, too.

  • @thanameznick the dude doesn't train he talk for fuck sake

  • ali was too smart for george

  • 0:24 is the sound used in kung fu movies, they got it from this

  • Tyson,Tua or Morrison wud fuckin kill him in a fight

  • @teanshin Ali would kick tysons ass into the ground and then mop the floor with him. Ali has smarts and in a fight that can make up the difference in skill. Tyson in his prime was an amazing boxer but he didn't have the smarts like Ali does.

  • @AvengerSaix pure speed and killing vicious instinct of Mike Tyson vs big mouth ring dancer Ali please dont make your self look silly all what was smart about him was him being a smartass.thx no more questions

  • @teanshin Mike Tyson doesn't have any killer instincts. Ali had skills and the smarts to use them. He talked shit and backed up while Tyson bites peoples ears off. Ali is considered one of the best boxers.

  • @AvengerSaix im not gonna arguee with you but in my opinion Ali would last 3 or 4 rounds with Mike at

most, biteing someones ear was one off,so dont say "peoples",Tyson is a true boxing legend dont forget 19yo HW champion of the world, whos gonna achive something like this thise days. Ali is remembered only for his big mouth spreding islam and his skills are nil compare to Tysons.thank you

  • imagen being punched by him?

  • @MYDICKISWOW It hurts even Imagening

  • fast moving boxers are the best, think about it.

  • @PattyCarnage91

ya for sure but if you look at his fights he never threw punches like that the way he does on the heavybag. His jabs were perfect angle punches and close to the body. Im just sayin why is he throwing weird punches in training

  • @lolointro1 too build strength thats all :D .. he was an angle artist with speed thats what made him so powerfull , brains :D

  • i meant wasnt skilled as Ali

  • Ali would kill Tyson, Tyson got the power but Ali movement would just kill him. Hey Tyson got Ko. by a man who was a skilled as Ali so dont go talking crazy about saying Tyson would kill Ali. I dont think Tyson can match up with Formen or Frazier

  • weak puncher even he amided he couln't punch

  • he has bad form on the heavybag...wide punches and he leaves his head exposed

  • Tyson culd put him asleep tyson has faster head movement and way more power and speed in his punches

  • muhammad ali is the greatest

  • ali der greatest

  • Love it.

  • when heavyweight boxing was the shit.

  • @twentyletternamesftw True that son! heavy wieght means nothing nowadays

  • @twentyletternamesftw When boxing period was the shit.

  • @twentyletternamesftw Now look what's happened to it...

  • @michael79331 Ali

  • @michael79331 ALI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha doesnt matter any ufc fighter would smash him , just take him to the ground and break those limbs haha

  • @phatwarlord cant get him to the ground if u cant catch him

  • @phatwarlord why are you bringing up ufc with boxing? there totally different

  • @phatwarlord loooool you are retarded.

  • @phatwarlord

nobodys talking about MMA you retard

  • oh my god,i don't like box but i can't be quiet seeing so much speedness and technique, he's amazing :|

  • Muhammed Ali is the second greatest fighter after Chuck norris (:

  • @omgodsword man you crazy? you must Smokin more than Joe Frazier......

  • @bigD2387

    I am.

  • @omgodsword yeah that would explain why you think Chuck Norris is better than Muhammad Ali.....

  • @bigD2387

    yeah.

  • You see those kids at the end of this vid?? That's part of where Ali got his strength. The magic of children

  • @gbrown4x4 he eats kids??

  • Ali for president!

  • all you people that say tyson would beat ali are crazy. tyson is not even in the top 5 heavy weights of all time. even on this video ali is past his prime. look at the fights before they striped his title and tell me if tyson would win. this guy is the fastest heavy weight that ever lived. the greatest!!!!!!

  • For all ali haters, while he is renowned for his trash talking, at least he had the skill to back it up. and don't forget that this was in the 70's when there wasn't all of those weird health products and protein shit and thats why ali's body doesn't look as ripped. and to paraphrase daraj123, bruce lee basically adapted ali's style of boxing into his own fighting style because he knew what was good, and ali's style was basically a better fighting form

  • I love tyson but Ali is on another level

  • he looks like a bag if shit in traiing

  • @innit27 Troll alert

  • ALI IS JUST RIPPING those punches man .. you can feel them and the pop in his punches , he may not have been the hardest puncher but he sure did have some pop in his punches ..the geatest of all times .. my idol , my inspiration ... Ali we all love you

  • Is this supposed to be "the greatest"? hahahaha, this is the worst skills I've ever seen lol.

  • @Musketor this skill beat sonny liston , joe frazier , jerry quarry , oscar bonavena , floyd patterson , ernie terrell , earnie shavers , george chuvalo , leon spinks , henry cooper and big george foreman .. so get your punk ass outta here ... go watch your UFC SHIT white boy

  • @Musketor lol your just a fuckwit

  • @Musketor its obviously clear yu dont know jack about boxing or ali,

  • I WONDER IF ALI WAS IN ANY GANG ???? HMMMMMMMMM ???? THE ALIx13 GANG ??? HMMMMMMM ???? MAYBE ?????? IM STILL THINKEN ABOUT THAT ONE ???? HMMMMM ???

  • i really want to see what my face will look like after ALI punch me :D

  • @Prem488 not true. and be careful how much enthusism you put in, you might hurt some people with it. tyson even if he fought very hot was indeed very cold blooded. those kind of finishing skills are exacly the right energy to destroy existence. tyson would finish him for sure..

  • Ali the greatest of all time

  • The technology that Ali was rasied on during his fighting years was outdated by the time Tyson came around. Tyson used advanced training techiniques during his reign.like saying jacj Johnson against Ali. It wouldn't be a match because they were from 2 different eras. If Ali came up during the time Tyson came up using the same technology then Ali would win. The name of the game is Boxing not slugging

  • Mike Tyson had speed, strenght, agressive, good reflexes, endurance.

    Tyson would win

  • @SuperJordan691 ALi defeated every heavy weight of his era. Mike Tyson at his time has been losing to other heavy weights.

  • @SuperJordan691 Watch TYSON VS JAMES TILLIS. Tyson had trouble landing a great shot @ Tillis & wasn't able 2 knock him out. Ali is way faster & harder to hit. Also, Tillis didn't have Ali's power jab, fast combination punches that comes from all angles, and endurance when Ali was in his prime. Lastly, Ali has more heart than Tyson. Ali took Frazier's picture perfect left hook to the chin and Foreman's best punch but those still didn't phase him. By the way, Foreman hits harder than Tyson.

  • That man was swinging the heavy bag with a jab. A Jab... Jesus Christ.

  • that's because he pushed forward

  • tyson would have beaten ali hands down....tyson's shorter but thats his advantage

  • @ThugalogPlaya um no. Ali's jab and movement would neutralize him. And when Tyson would come in, he'd just tie him up or lean back. Before Tyson could get in his face would be all bruised up already. Plus Ali got a much much better chin. Thing with Tyson is that if you put pressure on him, repeatedly throw the jab, and tie him up when he comes in, he won't know what to do. Ask Buster Douglas.

  • hes supposed to stay in the 6ft/10ft circle but no 1 can match his movment and heavybag workout all the pucnches where correct to where he wanted to put the bag

  • any one of those punches would go through my face lol

  • Watching this video pisses me off cause Boxing today is nothing compared to what it was back in the day. Ali, Frazier, Sugar Ray, any of the good old timers would destroy any Boxer today. Great vids by the way.

  • training more the mouth than boxing...

  • He was the best boxer Ali -> ALL

  • You may try to compare the size of the man in the fight but you cant compare or measure the size of the fight in the man.

  • I also believe tyson was stronger, but show some respect to Ali, hes a icon for many people.

  • just cuz your stronger doesnt mean your gonna win remember ppl the name of the game is HIT AND NOT TO BE HIT not to brawl

  • exactly! Most don't seem to understand this. but i heard both larry holmes and george chuvalo speak to this.

  • he would have to catch him first....ali would work tyson with his jab....he would be to fast for tyson

  • he was a cycological genius

  • dam, everyones lookin at him like he's som sorta experiment

  • Ali didn't do a lot of heavybag work because he didn't have to. He did his running in the early morning and did a lot of sparring along with some jump rope, speed bag, situps and medicine bag for his stomach. Fighters like Julio Cesar Chavez, Roy Jones Jr. & James Toney never did a lot of heavybag work during their careers - they also concentrated more on sparring & running. Chavez didn't even bother with the speed bag much of the time.

  • that is the best footwork you will ever see from a heavyweight in this lifetime

  • dude this is old ali.

image this ali 10 yrs ago. against sonny liston.

  • yep of course

  • Comment removed

  • he had such a unique way of punching in bruce lees fighting methods he describes watching some of alis videos for days and hours and was in awe of his speed, technique foot movement and puching style, he then adopted his punching after ali and now i know why & can see it!

watch the way bruce punches in his films and you will see ali in his punches, im not making this shit up its from bruces lips and in his books! Its real

  • @daraj123 yeah, bruce lee admired ali
