Utterly gorgeous. I went travelling in Europe in 98 and this album was my soundtrack.

edsstokes, you are right to point out the similarities with Autobahn. Both albums are celebrations of long distance road travel, and Landcruising starts and finishes with the sound of a car door closing, a clear homage to the Kraftwerk classic which does the same.

One of the best albums I own. Bought at university in 1995. Loved it loved 69, the lot this man is the king of the atmospheric soundtrack. In some respects this album is comparable to Autobahn, but it never sounds dated. Just a shame the Fabric offering wasn't so great, I still caned it though!!! Genius

Yes, it's a possible soundtrack for movies like Blade Runner or William Gibson's Neuromancer.
