I managed to find a Russian trailer for the film... if you type Трейлеры Иллюзионист on Google Search you should find a site that has it.

All I know is that it is based on a script by Jacques Tati, and it's about a magician and his daughter and it's set in Scotland.

I've been lookin for this for years,they used to always show it at christmas time. Seemed the more he ate the greedier and ruder he got. Maybe it's a comment on consumerism and it's flaws. Fitting then that they'd show it at christmas!
