Oh so this is better than the original people say? Well guess what...No it isn't....In the original the girls were actually strong. They were some of the few female super heros out there. Japan just turned them into fru fru sparkle girls like all there other magical girl garbage!!! I mean since when did they need to transform?! Who needs transformations when you have your strength already there?! Also they are sisters!!! Are they sisters in this one? NO!!! Get real people...

The biggest hurdle is trying to adjust to the differences made by the anime that deviate from the original.

For example, the girls aren't sisters, they have to transform to become superheroes, they fight with weapons now and the anime doesn't emphasize action/violence as much the original.

@annierooney Actually, no. PPGZ is an anime retelling of the Powerpuff Girls and it's very good. The story follows 3 girls who have been hit by a white beam containing Chemical Z when sheiding little kids from the light, allowing them to have transformation devices to become the powerpuff girls Z. The girls aren't sisters; and they have different names until they transform. Momoko becomes Blossom, Miyako is Bubbles and Kaoru is Buttercup. The show is the best in the original Japanese, IMO.
